The Ponte del Accordo bridge has its new Unearthed overlay up now.

Pete Dunklee did mention that Cornered has about five buildings. That's about what I counted from Mach Tower. From the looks of it, they have a barn, a fallen-on-its-side building, a giant Silo, A "winding maze" building, and something else that I can't remember. Most importantly, they are all distinctly different from each other.

It also looks like Ripper Row may have gotten some new banners. One of them looks like the other creatures that Scarlett can conjure up, aside from the thirteen evils. I think these creatures might be what could save the maze itself.

The park has a ton of work to do in the next fortnight to get ready for howl o scream. I feel like they are usually further along than this? Hopefully all the mazes are complete and it's just park decorations remaining.

Well HOS opens about 2 weeks later this year. They're probably focused on the three new mazes they have to put up. I would be more worried say if they were adding a new terrortory. However, since there's not really going to be any new path decor, setting up the pathways will take less time this year than in the past couple of years. So their focus should be on the new mazes.

Maybe I'm crazy but it seems to me like they are farther along than they usually are with two weeks left! If looks like a ton of the decorations around the park are already up and all the new houses seem to be making progress from what we've seen. I'm feeling good about their level of preparedness, especially considering they're in the middle of another event.

You would be suprised how much can be done in a quick span of time if they have the right amount of ppl working on it.

I did notice however, one of the props is recycled from 13. It is the deer carcass with the human head. It was in the "fear of dead things" room in 13, and it didn't have a head. They must have added on those cosmetics.

I am really curious to see what they are going to do with the cave segment. That was always where most mazes in the past went downhill. The only exception was The Dark Tower. They started with the cave to get it out of the way first.

To people that don't know the park, or that building, they don't have to do much. They will just think it's part of an amazing set. For consistent guests, however, it is very hard for the park to cover up the rest of the building. That's all thanks to the long, narrow paths in the house that can't be altered.

From what we have seen here, the park has taken great care into making a fully immersive and original experience. There is still much ground to cover though. Like I said earlier, the caves are the big issue. I would say get rid of them if possible, but that would only disappoint people. Guests are used to the maze being a roughly 13 minute walk-through on average. Let's hope the rest of the house doesn't fall apart around this great foundation.

I think that the cave could potentially be used as a part of the storyline. It could be the part of the house where you're attempting to "escape" the house and get above ground. Put a couple hiding places, props(if any at all), and actors who are "chasing" you, trying to keep you in the house.

On the AURA site is the house is going to be open to the public and also says they took VIPs through and they barely escaped. I imagine it will be an open house in which you tour the house and everything is fine until you meet Scarlett and then she summons all of her friends. Just a guess.
