HOS performs 100x better when there's no crowds and no conga lines

Dystopia: I miss the Deadline theming but the actors are on point this time around
Frostbite: I'd rather have Darkastle TBH
Demented Dimensions: I don't think it'll ever be as good as it was in Tampa, but this was a really solid maze with some really decent gimmicks. If the park can keep changing it up and adding rooms to the end, it would easily be one of their better mazes.
Lumberhack: I don't think it's as good as it was opening year but it's alright. I actually think they'd benefit from moving the props and stuff closer to the pathway. There's too much space inside the maze
Vault: Probably my favorite maze. The actors are amazing and while the set pieces aren't as good as Bitten's ever was, the actors totally make up for it

Scare zones perform a lot better when you're not swimming through hoards of people
Ripper Row: Lots of actors roaming around and its performing a lot better than I remember. I'll miss the extensive theming the park put together, but it looks like the scares held up a lot better this time
Vampire Point: As everyone has said, while the zone is pretty tired, the park hired a good number of actors and they're all pretty high energy
Axe Alley: I think the costume design is pretty good and they did get a bungee scare. Pretty weak outside of that though.
Garden of Souls: I love the photo op in the middle of the garden. Didn't see too many actors, but I think I prefer this over the pirates.
Fools Court: I mean its basically the Demon DJ in a different spot. I thought the makeup was really good on the actors that were there. Chainsaws were cool, but the actors should've been pushed a little further back.

Monster Stomp is great as always.
Meanwhile what happened to Night Beats? I've never really been a huge fan of the show but this was weak.

I'll probably be back for one more round before the end of the season.

I’d rather point out people being dumb and laugh at them than complain about a 30 second walking delay and act like it’s a massive deal lolol

Excuse the double post, but in an industry centered around hospitality, minimizing inconvenience and ensuring the smoothest possible experience is everything. The theme park industry lives and dies on guests having the best experience possible, so telling guests to suck it up and deal with it does't cut it.

You can say what you want but Jack is Back was a huge sucess for the park this season. Ive seen the show numerous times and it almost always plays to a huge crowd. Look at Night Beats, there have been some shows with so few pwople they could have all sat at one row of tables. The crowd for Jack is Back is dancing, clapping and getting into the show, Night Beats on the other hand the crowd just sits there. They are also selling beer and snacks while people are waiting for the shows as well as photo key photos. I understand there is hatred for the show on this forum and some online places but many guests that dont get as deep into the parks as some do really enjoy the show and look forward to it.
Last evening we went with some folks one of which had never been to HOS, Jack is Back was the most anticipated event of the night for them and they really enjoyed the show. They also bought beers at Grogans before the show. They had no interest in even seeing Night Beats.
Now as far as the crowd issues, they are doing a excelent job in my opinion. I can pass through Ireland much easier during a show than Festa any time. Ireland has needed a draw the past few years to get poeple in that area to relieve other sectiosn of the park and they did it. Reguardless if you like it or not Jack is Back and may be back for a few years. Like was said before they just dusted off a old show and its a sucess, maybe they need to dust off some more oldies and get HOS back to being as great as it once was....im looking at you Nightmare Express!

For the record, I think Jack is Back is a better show than Night Beats: Revamped. I think the former is a massive logistical annoyance that is wholly out of place in a modern Howl-O-Scream lineup. The latter, however, I find to be a truly, unforgettably bad experience—featuring an uninspired setlist, horrendous choreography, and a storyline so mind-bogglingly bad that I can't even focus on the show anymore because my eyes are too busy rolling nonstop inside my skull.

Also, I would personally contend that a children's disco show hosted by a dancing pumpkin being cited as "the most anticipated event of the night" is an alarming commentary on the current state of entertainment at Howl-O-Scream...

I just want Monster Stomp: Revamped back in Killarney, Fiends back in Festhaus (and not so raunchy), and Ghosts of the Globe in England and I'll be beyond happy
