RE: Howl-O-Scream 2017

Alternatively, it might be worth trying to keep your hands in your pockets (actually makes houses scarier in my experience as well) or hold hands with someone.

If you want to try a house, start with Lumberhack before it gets dark. It is a lot more open than other houses so the actors normally don't get directly in your face like they do at times elsewhere.

Where do they store the walls of the mazes

Houses that are removed for Christmas Town/the main season are typically stored in one of the park's many on or off-site storage facilities.

Night Beats: Revamped has a new set. It seems to have a slightly darker tone than before. One thing that alarms me a bit is that there doesn't seem to be any room for a band. I also just remembered that the casting list in July didn't mention instrumentalists for Night Beats.

I really hope they aren't making it more like the additions to last years show, but those parts were mostly pre-recorded anyway. I wouldn't be surprised to not have a band this year. Still, it seems strange to have an entirely different set without a completely different show.

^ Rarely this early in the season, but it is always difficult to predict. If the weather is nice, get there early.

Also, those dragons I referenced earlier in Frostbite? Yeah, I got to see one of the prop dragon skulls in person the other day. Wow. If the rest of the house is up to that production level, we are in for a treat.

Any updates/pics on Axe Alley?

This is out of topic of course, but if you guys REALLY want to go something crazy and scary..try reapers revenge. Best attraction and scariest in America for many reasons.

http://reapersrevenge.net

Nice groupon deal for VIP which i recommend because sometimes people wait between 2-6 hours. YES 6 HOURS! People faint from exhausted.

Going there tomorrow and then busch the following weekend..pretty sure busch houses will be lame compared to reapers revenge.

So I saw this from Bay News 9 out of Tampa.  Seems they take their scare a bit more widespread and intense then Williamsburg.  It sounds pretty cool though..

At this year's event, there are seven haunted houses in total and five “scare zones.”

“There’s really no place that’s safe in the park," said Ben DeWitt, Busch Gardens’ Entertainment Project Manager. "Everywhere, from the moment guests step out of their car in the parking lot, you are going to see monsters and zombies on the trams, on the rollercoasters, in every corner of this park. There's really, truly no place safe."
