RE: Howl-O-Scream 2017

I wonder if the "Early Access" to Frostbite perk is a hint that Frostbite will be opening (unannounced) at 5:30 nightly. It seems doubtful that they'd run a house for 30 minutes just for the minuscule handful of people who buy the Ultimate Chills QuickQueue.

It also says in the regular unlimited qq and tours that they get to use the 5:30 start time as well.

RE: Howl-O-Scream 2017

Even on the most crowded nights, I have been able to experience every house with minimum waiting by purchasing three to four single-house Quick Queues, which range between $5 and $10 each. By getting in line for one house (particularly one with lower capacity) before HOS begins, and immediately lining up for the two closest houses in succession, I can experience three houses in an hour or less. I then use my single-use Quick Queues on the remaining houses.

Arriving early and quickly knocking half of the houses out of the way means I can experience every HOS house, even on crowded nights, for between $15 and $40. Definitely a better deal than $50 to $75 Quick Queue passes for every house, with hardly any difference in the amount of time spent in line.

I don't want to spoil too many of the park's secrets all at once but here are some little bits to tie you all over for now...

The new Hotel-themed escape room will feature a nifty-sounding elevator room.

Frostbite is supposedly going to feature a dragon. Didn't see that one coming, did you?

Interesting. Tampa created a similar elevator in Alone. I have been wanting to see them do something like that here.

I have been wondering if we will see the old T-Rex skeleton from Dig it Up re-purposed as the remains of such a creature. To me this entire maze sounds like Cavern of Darkness 2.0. To some, that might be a wonderful thing. Others may simply see through the crafty use of existing props and consider it cheap.

Anyone know where this guy is from? I swear I've seen the statue before, but I don't know where.

That's what I thought, but I found a picture of the Rhine fountain online and it looks very different. Was there more than one statue?

Oh, it makes sense that this would be the same statue that came from Bitten. But where did he come from before then? His nautical design would suggest that Bitten wasn't his original home.

I could be wrong but, I feel it may have come from Revenge of Pompeii as that house had several statues, it also could've possibly been in Wicked Woods? Either way these photos are just making me more and more excited for this house.
