They are clearly overlaying the San Marco bar area with the pirate stuff.  Not sure what you mean about taking it down before HOS?

Well considering the new territory Sideshow Square is replacing Ports of Skull i'd figure that all of the Pirate Facades were up just for aesthetics until the park could put the new facades and props up to keep the new stuff hidden until Howl o Scream starts.

Busch Dominion's latest photo update is now live and features over 50 photos of the Howl-O-Scream prep that has occurred inside the park as of this weekend! The best thing about this article may just be its header image...

There is some info regarding the structure outside of No Escape in that article, and all of our observations regarding changes to other Howl-O-Scream related things in the park. Check it out!

Is HOS included in the 1-park/1-year pass? I thought it was and I only had to pay for Christmastown...

Yes HOS is included.

I have heard quite a few things about Circo Sinistro from a reliable source. I wouldn't want to spoil a lot, but it seems this maze is taking a different approach than our old Fear Fair did so if you trust me and don't want any spoilers, DON'T READ ON!!!...
This circus is to be from a different era, more 1800's looking. Going into the maze will be like stepping back in time a bit and seeing this undead circus from the 1800's. From black and white visuals to certain special effects never done in a HOS maze before, each tent will have it's own act to entertain you. In the beginning, you will be locked in the first tent for a few minutes and greeted by the storyteller who will start your journey. After you are released from her tent, the show begins. Including Trapeze artists (aka bungee scares), knife throwers, and puppeteers. (One room that was described to me can best be described as the final room in Doll Factory at KD Halloween Haunt with the Manikins) The maze will include a lot of disorientation and will include some "dolls" at the end of the maze in reference to this years theme.
I hope this excites everyone else as much as it does myself!

I thought the dolls were the main focus. Why only "some" dolls. Each doll had a role why not put them throughout.?

Mr. Karver's dolls are the main focus of Howl-O-Scream's marketing initiative, not Circo Sinistro or Sideshow Square. Both were announced before Mr. Karver was. The only attraction that should be based solely off of Mr. Karver and the dolls is their No Escape room.

Oh wow. Not liking that. So people have to pay 40.00 just to see the dolls in an escape room. That sucks. I thought the dolls were going to be in the house. " what you see you soon will be" whats that slogan for? Was hoping for a dead silence type vibe

So excited to be able to go Friday and Saturday of opening weekend. I'm still debating on doing the Escape Room though... Does anyone have any other info on them besides what we already know?

The one for bitten is still the best one so far in my opinion though the video for deadline is still better than Lumberhack's though.

They have the timeline wrong. According to the signage out front, the incident took place around the time the maze first opened. I also think it's smart that they go through the maze backwards. I hope that doesn't mean anything for the path orientation. Some may recall that Curse of Pompeii was reversed quite a few times.

While it would break the story a bit, Deadline isn't as cheated out as most houses to be viewed from one side only. In other words, if you look behind yourself there is still consistent detail and theming. Bitten is the same way, if not more so.

I don't know if this will happen or not. I don't typically condone maze reversals for ones with good storylines, but it can sometimes help an old maze very much.

I'm kinda suprised nobody posted about the blood drive yet. This year they partnered with the Red Cross to have a blood drive, and for all who donate blood get in for free. all of the appointment times are filled up now, but I thought it was a nice little thing they were doing this year
