I think that the dolls taking over Facebook thing is all pretty cool but I feel that they are doing it a little early.

Also, what's MySpace? :p

It was the big internet social networking website before facebook went global in like a millisecond.

It also said "some people think im an ash"

Im starting to like these puppets taking over :p

There was also this one which I love.

Under one of the comments, they replied that he was a son of a Beech.

You'd think me being the crazy shrubbery guy, I would've caught this the first time, but nope. Had to re-read it a couple hours later. :p Very clever, Busch Gardens.

Not near as much hype on here as last year, HOS is right around the corner.

I for one am extremely excited! My plans to visit the park later this month got cancelled so I'm looking forward to a HoS trip. It's a big part of our Halloween ritual.

Yeah I'm excited about going to HoS but trying to find the best Friday night to go. I'll be missing opening night due to a concert and the following Friday is opening night for Haunt so debating on doing HoS or Haunt on the 30th.

I have also made trip on Columbus Day weekend, that Sunday has usually worked out to being not as crowded. last it was really packed, more than usual but still worth it.

It looks like we finally have a face to the mysterious Mr. Karver. This was from SeaWorld San Antonio. I think it was a very smart decision to make him look generic and somewhat cartoonish. This should break one of their biggest barriers: Translating the icon to look convincing on the performer portraying him or her. It's one of the reasons as to why Tampa never really saw the Trickster, and why we got a cheap looking Lady of the Gardens (after not having one at all).

That's why Scarlett had about three models in promotional material, so anyone resembling one of three models would appear more authentic. One of my former theatre colleagues was one of Scarlett's minions that sold drinks, and the funny thing is that I was actually going to call her and say "Hey, you should dress as Scarlett." I guest casting saw the same thing.

Anyway, that's just a little bit of insight on what it takes to design and implement a Howl-O-Scream icon.

hey my dudes, went to the park today and saw that all the houses/shacks of Cornered had been put up. the direction signs to point out the houses are hulking out next to Cornered as well. back at Circo Sinistro, there are 4(?) tent set up back there with no walls or anything set up yet. I did see a man unloading some platforms though.

When I was at the park a few weeks ago, it looked like Sinistro had what could be a decently sized permanent building. Not something that would contain the entire maze, but something that could easily store a few rooms. I'm going to try to get a better look tomorrow.

I like his look, but he doesn't scream scary to me. I guess his creations are meant to be the scary part?

Getting some video, but in the meantime there's some sort of construction happening in FHP. This looks like (from what I can tell) some sort of add on to the Bitten building and what looks like a gate to Lumberhacked.
