Could we possibly see some scare actors in costume jumping into the rides, ridding beside visitors this year?

Lol, that's a really fun idea. I'm not sure it would work with every ride though. I can just see a clown jumping on Apollo's Chariot (preventing another rider from getting on) and then there are those awkward minutes waiting for the ride to start and then clinking up the tracks and waiting to return to the station once the train ahead has left. What kind of small talk would one make, I wonder...

Tampa has scare actors on their rides "randomly", but they are mostly (if not all) zombies. I saw some boarding Kumba one time, right after I got off.

Zombies work pretty well, because they don't talk much. I would love to see BGW try this, but apparently some pirates were fussed at for riding The Battering Ram in 2014. Maybe this can change now.

Fans of Howl-O-Scream at Williamsburg and Tampa did not exactly get the whole deal with the "Icon Cards".

I'm not sure I understand you? At least from a Willamsburg perspective, I'm not sure what aspect of the Icon Cards that we missed?

I'm talking about these.

Fans of both parks who didn't know the past icons where left in the dark on that part.
Mainly because they used icons from both Williamsburg and Tampa.
Sorry for any misunderstandings.

So Tampa is bringing back the Circus of Superstition so it's probably safe to assume we will probably get some sort of clowns back too.

Yes, I know what they are, and my impression was that "fans" at least on this Forum understood what they were. I can't speak for Tampa, but I wonder what you base your assumptions on?

Ok...
I just mean that newcomers, and people who didn't know about HOS's past themes/icons.
People at Williamsburg who don't know about Tampa's past themes didn't really understand the cards.
People at Tampa who don't know about Williamsburg's past themes didn't understand either.
Thus making the cards a bit of an issue with people who don't know about both parks past icons.

Thats all I'm saying...

I was asking for evidence.

There were people on twitter who asked what the cards were about.
And a few people coming out of the house asking what it all meant.

You saw this in Williamsburg from real "fans?"

I could missed it, but I don't recall confusion on Facebook or this Forum.

No no not park fans I don't believe.
I'm speaking for Tampa but I feel safe assuming that there was some people wondering about the cards at Williamsburg too.

Honestly I kind of thought they were self explanatory. You did not really have to know who Jack was to collect his card. You just had to collect it.

I dunno, I did not bother with any of it, so I may be out of line.

Ditto.

The Cards and the Icons themselves were self explanatory it was the fact that unless you were the park looking for it or had bought the HOS VIP Scarebox (like i did) nobody knew they existed. Thus when people were in park and saw them they were confused as to what they were or where they came from.

In my opinion, it was the biggest pitfall of the Unearthed theme. Tampa only had past characters from their events, unlike Williamsburg. Still, people did not understand their purpose, or that Scarlett was able to summon "evils" with tarot cards.

Tampa did a much better job displaying the card idea in the house. There were more physical props vs. projection on the screen of a flight simulator cabin. They also had the cards at the end made like curtains for more versatility.

As far as I can remember, the confused people included many people on these forums saying "What is going on?!" "Why is that woman hanging on a string with fans blowing on her?". I'm not trying to criticize anyone. I'm just saying that the concept failed in the house, but not with the game. People seemed to love that.

If they bring it back, I want to see more of Scarlett herself, and less of her cronies (the ones without horns). Maybe they could make her levitate using the same method used to fly The Voodoo Queen in Tampa's Death Water Bayou. For what its worth, the Broadway show "Wicked" uses the same trick. They just hide the seat in Wicked.

Thanks for clearing things up!
I didn't mean anything about the game, I mean the concept/execution in the house itself.
The card game was enjoyable while the card rooms in the houses where a little head-scratching.

Yeah I didn't really understand the cards or how they fit in with the house/Scarlett's story. Someone on here just said she summoned those other characters using tarot cards (?), and that's not a connection I remember making during the event last year. Also I don't know basically anything about Tampa's HOS so I had no idea who any characters that were exclusive to that park were.
