I'm back tonight.

Deadline: Much better.

Thirteen: Much better but still not, well, good.

Catacombs: Actually quite good. It surprised me.

I think the park forgot it was HoS. :V...Actors, despite the masks, seemed very not into it.

I think the problem might be that it's different this year than last year. I mean, they can't just do the same thing every year. Gotta switch it up, know what I mean? Maybe you're just against change.

I have been to HOS on Friday, Saturday, and tonight (Sunday). There is a definite improvement in the staffing of the haunted houses tonight. I only saw 1 horde Friday, 2 lsaturday, and 1 tonight (so far).

^ agreed. I wish they had a zombie horde

For next year, shortening IllumiNights > shortening Howl-O-Scream.

Anyway, I'm back at the park again. Any requests?
Could you please take a pic of verbolten's hill with the purple light and fog? I was going to take a pic of it but I forgot :\

Can anyone tell me what the real theme of Oktoberfest is? They are playing 80's music, while having the lady of the gardens on the bridge, purple Verbolten, Vampires, haunted greenhouses on the other side, and then no real decor anywhere minus right in front of the festhaus. The moment I crossed that bridge going into Oktoberfest I thought HOS was over.

Oktoberfest is vampires, I think. Casket Club, Vampire Sow in festhaus, Bitted haunted house.

An employee told me that cuts backs have been made to HOS due to assaults on employees. Already this year females have been punched in the face and pushed against walls. This happened last year with the scare zoned. Apparently this is why they are having trouble staffing HOS.

It's not a problem at every other haunted event?

Until they allow current employees to work HOS, you won't see any scarezones added with the hordes. I still think that is the main reason why HOS is so weak this year. Nearly everyone with experience also has a day job at the park.

As for the lack of decor, maybe they aren't entirely done yet? I did make a comment that it seemed like it was impossible to get it all done before the start of the event. Maybe (I hope) we will see some more decor when it reopens on Friday.

I went tonight and noticed that the hordes were a little spread out more than on Friday. At the end of the night a majority of the hordes was up front clowns and chainsaws scaring people. Personally I am not scared of them at all they need something else unexpected to scare people... Scott did say during the PMA he would personally send someone to my house and scare me so let me give him my address lol Dig it up was an excellent show and can't wait to see it again. Still haven't seen Casket Club in person yet.

I went all three days this weekend.

I do have to say the stacking in thirteen was better today but it wasn't as crowded either. Scares were pretty low here.

Uhmm RoAE was the worst thing to ever happen to busch gardens, and a scare actor DEFINITELY touched me. Didn't apologize or anything. I almost wanted to get him fired. Also the dude in the pond, got my shoes soaked. And It was uncomfortably freezing. I went through twice, and it was awful both times. Even the picture was dumb.

Fear Fair was VERY understaffed, and the bullhorn seriously made me mad. But I mean between tents, I had no scares, and very few inside. The two most staffed places were the entrance and exit.

Deadline was probably the best one all weekend. Small staffing issues but overall not bad! The subway car room had one person only though every time I went in :c

I skipped Catacombs though because I ran out of time, but I did get to experience all of the hordes. They aren't that scary lol. I'm a huge wuss, and I didn't even need to cling on to my friends or anything. I just jumped on occasion.
