Welcome to the forums cawgy!! I definitely see the scare actors pick out and intentionally scare ppl who are clinged too another person. That's what makes it so much fun!!

Thanks! And yes they do. I love it! That's why I LOVE taking my 14 year old. She clings to my arm all night, well until the scare actors come after her and she takes off running :D

Approximately about 5 hours ago, the park posted on Facebook, "we have new haunts in store for Howl-o-Scream this year. We'll be announcing soon. Stay tuned."

Could this mean sometime in the next day or so they will post up more juicy info?

So I'm not sure if anyone was interested in this, if you want these pictures of the attractions logos or if seeing pictures helps you better with getting what's going down at Howl-o-Scream this year, but here you go:

I'm going to be totally honest, I thought Fear Fair wasn't going to be returning this year; well, at least not in the same state as last year. I mean, the description says that the carnival only stops in each town once, and then moves on. I just assumed that if it were returning this year, then they'd at least change the name, or at least the description. It couldn't cost that much money to rewrite the story a little and change it up ever so slightly. Tampa has the Vampire Casino maze Re-Vamped where you have to go through with a flashlight. I would've liked to see something similar to happen with Fear Fair...or maybe Dead Line.

That's a cool way of looking at fear fair, the house was very popular and I enjoyed it very much. But why would they revamp an incredibly popular house where scares are common because a lot of ppl are afraid of clowns. It wouldn't make sense to fully revamp it after 1 year.

I think the flashlight idea would have fit Catacombs the best. It would have worked well with the theme of going underground, it being completely dark and all. Plus it's been said that Catacombs needs a revamp anyway, so that would be really cool to see maybe next year.

I'm not talking about a total revamp, just a couple changes for continuity. The description states that the Fair never returns to the same place once it's been there. Nitpickers like me get annoyed when something comes back when it says it wouldn't. I don't know, but they could've changed it up to say: "The freaks loved it so much, the fairgrounds kept tantalizing them after they left. All of their guests had such a great time, it'd be a shame not to make them Grin again." Or something like that. Plus, Vampire Casino was new last year, and they're revamping it, so it wouldn't be unheard of.


And yes, I think the flashlights could work really well in Catacombs. I think Dead Line could be fitting, too, because you're essentially investigating a zombie-infested subway station/archaeological dig site, so you could've been hired to investigate the electricity-less site. I don't know, I just think it'd be cool :p

Yeah but they have hhn to compete with so they need to revamp or put new houses in every year or it would be unpopular. While bgw only has Kd to compete with who just throw in a hodgepodge of houses with no theme whatsoever. But it could be done, but you are the only person who wants it that I have heard from, anyone else agree with him? Speak up!!

Back on topic, will 13 get new fears? What will they be?

I'd love to see Hadephobia; The fear of Hell....although it would probably cause some backlash from religious psychos.

I looked on the BGW facebook page and I saw no mention of new stuff for HOS. Does anybody got a link? I just want to be sure I was on the right page.

the enclosed space at the very end was fear of death, not fear of enclosed spaces. i think they could redo death and in fear of enclosed spaces have you crawl on the florr or something except that would cause severe backups but i thin it might be able to be pulled off. something likee that would be better in an alone house though.

I haven't been to HOSTampa but I have been to HHN and I'd say the houses at Tampa compare at least slightly to HHN and at HHN the walkways are so much bigger than HOSWilliamsburg so the flashlight is used more for seeing where to walk instead at HOSW where you are basically directed where to go by the walls being right beside you. Im hoping the LOTG house being a temporary building that the walkways will be wider!

Yea in Tampa and Orlando all of the houses are wide enough for wheelchairs to get through.

Scare Squad is any performer. Better part of the hordes will be returning performers and more than likely already filled.

Still no banners up on the Italy-Germany bridge that i can see. Also, does someone have a link or screenshot about the details coming out on the HoS page?
