RE: Howl-O-Scream 2012 Rumors
all I'm saying is that this survey had nothing to do with age restrictions. I don't assume to know the exact reasoning behind this, but I doubt the main reason is to convince parents to leave their kids at home. Even the event in Tampa really doesn't care how old your kids are.
I think this is purely a way for them to make this a ticketed event with a bigger budget. Theoretically, you would be getting something bigger and better. Think an event from 6 to midnight, multiple good shows, bigger budget houses, and scarier. I'd pay for that. I mean honestly if they don't do something like this, in the long run they will end up charging more for passes or something along those lines.
this whole survey thing is probably just a way for them to gauge whether or not possible changes in the future would be palatable for the gp and passmembers.

It's absolutely not separate. The gist of the upcharge thing is to make it more like Tampa. Tampa is an adult event. Without an "adults only" restriction and houses/shows/attractions to match, what justification is there to charge as Tampa charges? There is none. (And I'm still not saying it should be restricted OR upcharge.)
