the train wasn't shut down for illuminights....it was only shut down for the fireworks finale....there is no other controlled area in the park where they can be shot off.....and why would you want it stopped for HoS? If anything you would want it to run but have scarezones throughout its path....

I was saying I only wanted normal train operation (stops at each station) off during the haunted train thing (round trip).

Anyway i hope Busch Gardens Get the Train back.
Do you think Busch is going to announce a extra house at the Event?
oh and when are the best dates to go, because people say the first week is always busy and
i cant go on a friday because of school. So which day's have the least amount of people?

I think fiends in the festhaus will be the substantial annnouncement. SOOO many people want to see it bak. It was already leaked so it needs to happen!!!!

^as a Kidserate introduction house. It didn't truly open until about 6pm. I'd bet Catacombs, at the least, will open at noon.

I used to be terrified by Howl-o-Scream. The few safe routes around the park involved the train and the skyride. Now, I go with my friend, who is still completely terrified, and take these "safe routes" to get to the rides and eateries. How many times have you seen a reluctant person/group blocking a path, holding up a line or ruining a scare zone? No... Busch is correct to run the train normally.
Also, 13 should open at noon, it's an indoor maze. At least, I know cavern of darkness opened early in '09.

Catacombs was fun to visit right at noon. It seemed almost every opening you were guaranteed to see people running before they even got it. Nothing like a cold beer and watching scared people.

On a different subject, is the Monster Stomp preview this Sat and Sun?

Everything I've heard is that all of the houses will open at 6pm, though I'm sure it wouldn't be that difficult for a change to be made to open some at noon.
I actually preferred them opening at noon since the difference light makes the houses seem much darker than at night.

I think it would be cool during Jack is Back, have the robotic Jack come out and act like he is doing the party then the old Jack come out and beat him up for taken his spot and the old Jack returns having the dance party.

I've always gotten to the park around 5ish for Howl-O-Scream. I like getting to the park right when everything is starting, kind of sets the mood for the entire night. That's one thing they have always done a good job at, no matter how much everyone likes to complain about it. You always know its howl-o-scream regardless of where your at in the park. And I think the only time its ever been over done IMO was all the rats last year. Which I do hope they fix this year.

I liked those rats for all the wrong reasons. They weren't scary in the least and they were way overdone, but they sure were fun to squeak when you walked by!

i would sit, have a funnel cake, and watch people go ape crap over the rats when they realized they were up there. Beyond epic. I hope they do it again.
