RE: Howl-O-Scream 2011

How about we look past the theme sometimes and think about the house, there's not that many places to put houses in the park and that was the best place to put it. Who cares about theme

RE: Howl-O-Scream 2011

I think it will be a good house. I mean Zombie Apocalypses are in mummies are kind of out. The times are changing, and Busch needs to adapt. This year they are doing it too. I think they can use the modern themes, but keep it somewhat related to the whole area. I mean in modern day Pompeii I do think they have a metro. Why can't new construction hit a pipe, and leak an ancient special gas that infects everyone. It's creative, and it is new. Same with clowns. They are in, and they can be easily incorporated in Festa. Fear Fair, isn't going to be a modern take on a carnival. It is going to be like a traveling carnival in like Italy in the early 1500s or so. Ever seen Assassin's Creed I expect something kind of themed to that era.

Ok, that was not very smart to say knowing people on this forum haha...

But I have mixed feelings on this house. I LOVED revenge, but as everyone else said, it was getting kinda old; now, I expect this DL to be pretty dang scary to make up for the time period gap created by the subway theme. Also, if I wanted a good scary zombie theme, I woUld play left for dead on my xbox during a thunderstorm at 3 am. I've always considered Busch to be my place for classic old-Halloween style scares. As I said. DL better be pretty good...

I have a feeling these subways won't be too old-looking

Because subways were not first used in 1863.

Subways infested with zombies didn't become a cliche until around 2002, and they didn't build the Milan 1 in Italy, or the metro line in Rome, until the 1950's-60's, so unless you've got some inside information that this is going to be a subway of the 19th Century variety, why do you have to be so snarky about it?

Has anybody been to the park today to check out any of the construction?

I'm at the park now. Europe in the Air is closed, England, Ireland, and France are all themed exactly like they were last year, and there's lots of work going on at Fear Fair, but nothing I can get a picture of.

Any pictures of England, Ireland, and France?

Ok. Here's you update: http://bgwfans.com/?p=1273 Enjoy!

Those are great pictures. I was just there last weekend, and the only decorations up were on the Italy-Germany Bridge. I can't believe so much has been done is so little time. Great job Busch! The overhead mist machines were not there last weekend? Could they have something to do with HOS?
