RE: Howl-O-Scream 2011

Dead Line's story seems interesting, I wonder if the actors are going to do a little skit before you go in like Revenge of Pompeii.

Dead Line
Confirmed. Official description:
Deep underground, construction of the newest line of the Pompeii Metro was moving smoothly until an ancient pipe was accidentally struck. At first, it seemed like steam. Then the mist became thicker, more sinister. Now the strange gas is leaking quickly, and everyone trapped inside is infected. The difficult decision was made to cut off all communication to the outside world. The Dead Line is off the grid.

RE: Howl-O-Scream 2011

The whole mist becoming thicker and more sinister will be at the beginning like with Pompeii because it was always super thick right through there. I think with the story they came up with they can tie it into Pompeii.

Finally.. after all these years.. Pompeii is finally changed.

Change is good most of the time, I just think that HOS should have one attraction that is basicly the same and at the same spot every year. Pompii is one of those things you dont change. It's like retheming DarKastle, you dont do it.
Anyway I do like what they put in place of Pompii the story looks good and it could be a really good haunted house.

Does anybody think that BG will announce anything at the passholder day besides the two unreleased "haunts" or whatever?

This Dead Line thing sounds lame.

I feel bad about saying it, because people are going to think I'm being a contrarian. But it just sounds dumb to me.

I have to agree with you. As I said before, I feel that the overall subway idea within a ruined Italian city/temple doesn't make much sense, nor could I very good story be written for it.

RE: Howl-O-Scream 2011

Despite being the oldest and a classic to some people, Revenge /really/ needed to be replaced. It was starting to show it's age and the decoration at times looked like a dollar tree exploded in there.

I think that one of the biggest announcements in Fiends in the Festhaus! Maybe they'll add one more added scare?!!

I can understand some upgrades and even changes...but a poison gas/zombie/subway? What's next? Deranged serial killer in a hockey mask invades Kilarney? Viral outbreak leads to the walking dead in the Globe Theater?

I don't get it.
