I can see them using bitten but not hunted

Quit judging off present day and judge off construction progression and what will more than likely be in the area come HoS time.

Why demolish them at all? They're nice buildings with a ton of possible uses. It seems like a complete waste if you ask me. I also can't imagine them being used for this year's Howl-O-Scream with all of the 2012 construction going on...

Well think about this: come HOS construction might be pretty slow since at that point most of the construction would be on creating footers which means no massive construction like we see right now.

RE: Howl-O-Scream 2011

At no point from here out will the construction be slow. To meet their timeline they are balls to the walls until February. The ride erection inside the sfx building is scheduled for 4 weeks starting 9/27. That means there will be some pretty good sized cranes in that area along with the staging for the track itself. I don't know if they plan on using the buildings for HOS, I hope they do just to get back there to see whats going on.

I'm not judging from current construction...

^ Well Busch didn't give HOS info till late August last year. It would be nice for an earlier info release, but that isn't thier style

Ahhh the focus of what was and not what is to come.

So no spiders at all then? Your riddles intrigue me.

Also, interesting that you mentioned skeletons specifically. I know they are generally halloween related, but HOS has not had a specific skeleton scare zone (unless of course you are referring to France last year, but I associate that more with rats) since Piratical Purgatory or Bone Zone.

As far as the status of FHP- if, in fact, BG doesn't use that area at all, I'm curious as to where they have decided on putting a new house or 2.

So Busch is falling behind...Universal already has a teaser site up for HHN...and it's casino themed

Because there is no competition in Central Florida to get the head start on?

true but BGT hasn't released anything yet as far as a teaser site...all we know about them is that they'll have a zombie theme

I dont know if this was already confirmed but they are demolishing the bitten and hunted buildings.

No they're not, I saw them perfectly up during Ramp Jam and saw no pieces of it coming down.

Failed first post is failed. LOL. How long ago was ramp jam now? Did the poster state that they were currently being demolished? Context clues, use them.

RE: Howl-O-Scream 2011

What if they were to use the Europe in The air building as a haunted house this year like they did in 2009 (cavern of darkness). I enjoyed that one alot.

RE: Howl-O-Scream 2011

I think we can expect the Europe in the Air building to be used again. It's the perfect location for a maze.

RE: Howl-O-Scream 2011

^ I hope so, now that it's not the "new ride" of the year, maybe they will feel like they can use it as a maze again.

RE: Howl-O-Scream 2011

But to confirm it all, from what i heard both buildings are being taken down because all of the will be used for Project 2012, so expect them to have some new things for howl-o-scream, i meant they cant only have 3 houses!

RE: Howl-O-Scream 2011

Honestly, other than for HOS, those buildings seem rather useless to me. Maybe they're used for something with the concerts? But I don't go to those back there, so I don't know.

There was nothing in the scope of work for the 2012 project about those buildings. The only thing in that area was some asphalt pathways, new lighting, and a better foundation for the stage.

RE: Howl-O-Scream 2011

All im saying is what i heard, i know it might just be a rumor but i heard there tearing them down for the space needed, i dont want it to happen anymore than the next guy (or girl) because i love all three of the attractions there.
