RE: Howl-O-Scream 2011

I think the amount of fog and strobe was perfect. It's supposed to disorient you so the actors can scare you better. It's not just to have some cool effect to look at. It did it's job perfectly... Running into actors was probably exactly what they wanted you to do.

I actually liked cursed last year. except the epilepsy inducing fog section at the end. I was stuck in a corner for like 5 minutes.

ahhh...so you were one of thossseee people ...lol

RE: Howl-O-Scream 2011

Ha, yea, but I was following the people in front of me and there weren't any scare actors at the end in the fog. But I think there was one after you get back out.

RE: Howl-O-Scream 2011

there was a witch in the grasses out front if I remember correctly

Thanks maybe its just my computer, sorry if I got anyone excited. Anywho What mazes would you like to go and if you could reincarnate any house from the past what would it be?
I would get rid of Haunted for obvious reason and bring back Sleepy Hallow in place, I just always like the story it told.

RE: Howl-O-Scream 2011

I can't really say which houses i would want to come back seeing as how last year was my first haunted house (I was so scared but my friends tricked me into it). but I can give suggestions on what i would like. I know I keep saying it, but i want a trail in the woods!!!! bring back the clowns, haunted train, take away/completely redo FHP houses, scare actors & props everywhere.

Just some quick suggestions

RE: Howl-O-Scream 2011

I would bring back either Wicked Woods or Sleepy Hallow. Wicked Woods was completely terrifying to me, and well I was so terrified in Sleepy Hallow I closed my eyes almost the whole time. (Take into consideration I was 11, but still.)

RE: Howl-O-Scream 2011

Same with me and festa dementia. I went in the 3d maze whe. I was bout 8...most terrifying thing of my life!!!!

RE: Howl-O-Scream 2011

I dont know it sounds really cool and hard to get through, which just adds to the fun!

RE: Howl-O-Scream 2011

Oh yes...but the giant pink gorilla at the end that yelled in respond to my question if it was over "no we've only begun!!!!" didn't exactly help either haha =)

RE: Howl-O-Scream 2011

Lol, I love Howl-O-Scream. I probably will not make it to Busch Gardens until then. However, I have my license now so I may change that...

RE: Howl-O-Scream 2011

Aw that stinks...i got mine 5 months after I was actually able so I am now stuck with it way after I was eligible to get it =(

RE: Howl-O-Scream 2011

I just had a spontaneous idea for HOS

Last Halloween, there was a race in Norfolk where half of the participants were zombies and the rest were the people running away from them. What if they did this at Busch. It could be themed to where half of the people are plague victims and the other half are the uninfected trying to outrun disease. It works because all of the countries at Busch were affected by the plague way back when. The uninfected have free range to all of the shops, restaurants, and theaters in the park to hide along with whatever nooks and crannies they can squeeze into (rides and employee only areas excluded for safety reasons). The infected must chase them down and when they infect one of the uninfected they give them something special that'll everyone that they've been infected. This would be restricted to about 1500-2000 participants with a quarter of them starting out with the infection and the other three quarters having to run away and survive.

Other events like this have had their name start with "Survive" (survive Norfolk, etc.)
This could be called Survive Busch Gardens or something like Survive the Plague...something to that extent.

Thoughts?
