RE: Howl-O-Scream 2011

I will never understand it. Clowns don't scare me in the least, but I guess it's good news for Festa.

Oh, see...I watched the movie "It" when I was like 8 years old...not my best idea...scared me sooooo bad

RE: Howl-O-Scream 2011

I am really excited about the clowns coming back. Also, can I ask how you know this information for sure? I am not saying you don't know, because in my opinion you always have very informative posts. I was just wondering.

RE: Howl-O-Scream 2011

OH MY CHEEZUS thank youuu, I pratically squeeled I'm so excited for the clowns with their chainsaws and maniac laughs oh yeah I'm pumped for this years howloscream!

RE: Howl-O-Scream 2011

I wondered if anyone remembered me. I worked around the train in 2006 I was the lady near the Festhause graveyard site with a baby in my arms crying. I really hope they bring back the haunted train because it was a lot of fun and what there doing now with the train is horrible.

No train.

RE: Howl-O-Scream 2011

Ha you know it Scout, I'm just so excited and I hope that Howloscream makes some changes to "the scare is everywhere" and yeah they had their problems but it was also a great season. People just took the major problem like the scare actors and Jack and blew it up.

What I think should happen this year is that they should put a clown maze back in festa with all the creepy clowns and anything clownish. The kidsederate zones should have their little kiddy zones. And I'm not sure about the train now, yeah I sound crazy, but if you think about it the line was CRAZY long and yeah some of the parts were fun and creepy, but really it just blocked that area alot. The werewolves should go back to the wildlife reserve their great but I prefer them in an open area instead of in that smelly, hot building.
Yet again my opinion and I'm so excited!:p

RE: Howl-O-Scream 2011

I really enjoy the Fest Park HOS houses, but when you think about it some nights the line can be over a hour long. If you left just one house in the park (whether it be Bitten or something new) and scratched the other two and used the money elsewhere in the park I think that it would not only lessen the traffic in the Festhaus area, but open up the possibility of having better houses else where in the park. Just a thought.

RE: Howl-O-Scream 2011

Agreed, however, I highly doubt there will be any Festhaus Park houses this year with Project 2012 construction.

RE: Howl-O-Scream 2011

I dont know swift i mean that would be a big hit to take out three of the main attractions just for construction.

RE: Howl-O-Scream 2011

I dont think Festhaus Park will be used. I think they will find other areas to do the mazes.

RE: Howl-O-Scream 2011

They have plenty of space to put the Festhaus park houses. I don't believe that scratching those houses will affect HOS. I mean really those houses didn't really scare me with the whole line back up in the house and everything in Bitten. I don't see why it was so backed up in that house. Hunted and every other house was fine. I guess when people hit the sand they slow up, or I guess some people are just to scared to move forward. But, that is when I believe it is time to grow up. Back on topic anyway, I wouldn't expect houses in Festhaus park this year unless they use Bitten. Which would still allow a lot of room for the construction equipment and parts. I really hope to see a big change in Revenge of Pompeii this year.

~They do have plenty of space. I can see Harvest Hollow being scrapped as we know it though. Those houses are high capacity and a trademark for HoS now and only need a minor bit of tweaking overall

~All of the mazes experience backups badly. You get one group of people scared out of their minds and they stop. Simple ripple effect parallel to traffic when it happens on the interstate. It happens in all of them and is just a matter of whether or not you are in the house when it happens.

~I have a strong feeling Pompeii might get a very good revamp this year. That is a sole feeling though, nothing I have gotten as a rumor or anything. I am going off of what happened last year.
