Back to a 'real' discussion....How does everybody feel about the smell of DUNG in the park while whizzing by on a coaster?

While your humor does a great job of avoiding the question, I'm imagining your real answer would be that it will stink. But that wouldn't benefit the park would it.

Guests will smell it than either move on to the chlorinated to death waters of Pompeii, the fresh new bridge down by the Rhine, the smells of Ireland, or the construction of Banbury. Either way, the smell is isolated in an area that guests will move away from quickly. They already do it with the horses and sheep.

Thanks PR. That was the answer I was looking for. Was the grass always mowed where the cattle are going, or did they just let it grow tall?

I'm sure the smell will be contained, because if it isn't there would be a world of complaints...

I want to say it is typically mowed, but I'm not positive. I just hope the cherry blossom tree? will be left untouched.

I'm not going to be weird and say I enjoy the smell of horse dung, but I do find that stable smell to be very distinctive and signature to Heatherdowns. It's really just part of the experience for me, and the area wouldn't be as- ahem, special- without it.

Okay so the Scottish Cattle were supposed to be here by now. Not sure what has changed since February, but I am sure there may have been some issues. However, there has been some development. Below are pictures of the proposed area for which the Scottish Cattle would roam and graze. The area used to have a lot more larger bushes and was a lot more filled with plants. Recently, it looks like a lot of the landscaping was ripped out and redone. Could this be for preparations for the Scottish Cattle?

I feel like putting cattle directly adjacent to the skyride station would be an unintelligent move.
