I don't see why they can't just share with the other animals in highland stables. Or the park could put them back at the old stables over in Festa, and they could start making that a real animal attraction, with lots of different grazing creatures, instead of just the occasional goat and horse.

Glad to see the cattle are here, I hope, like I said earlier, that this is the start to making the Stables besides Festa into a real animal exhibit with plenty of animals.

Also, this is quite minor, but I noticed while on the Skyride last week, that they replaced the retractable awnings at Highland Stables, to a tan color, rather than the gray seen in Zachary's thread heading picture, seen at the top of this page. Here they are, I apologize that they are closed in this picture, but you can see them near the bottom of the roof.

Interesting, except for the fact that technically they will be in England.

I personally hate the England Sky Ride's location. It is not really in England, the pasture in front of the sky ride is in Scotland technically; however, the sky ride could be considered the 'outskirts' of England, especially because the secret path from England to Sesame Street is where you would go to get to the sky ride or actually, there was a pathway from the England portaits section up to the sky ride, so really it used to be just on the edge of England. Now you actually have to walk up to Sesame Street.

That said, I think they will technically be in Scotland, but it will look like England :p

In the presumed spot for the new Scottish Cattle, 2 sets of fences have been added. One under the magnolia tree, and one in front of the newly planted area closest to Banbury Cross. I assume this is to keep them from the two things and eating things they're not supposed to. Here's a picture:

Every one, give a warm welcome to Thistle and Rose, the park's new Scottish Highland(they even fit the Stable's name) Cattle! It sounds like the England Sky-ride won't be their permanent home, from what the blog post said they will probably be transported there for a majority of the day, or the whole day, and then will be transported back to the pastures for the rest of the day and night.(which should help limit that cattle dung smell :p)

I absolutely love this!

Highland Cattle are excellent browsers and are known to clear brush with speed and efficiency, often eating what other cows have left behind. Our new arrivals will eventually be added into our current targeted grazing plan assisting the sheep with cutting the grass around the park. They will also eventually be trained to walk around the park with our trainers.

Not gonna lie, at first I was opposed to this, but now I'm really liking the looks of it. I'm all for adding animal attractions in Heatherdowns (particularly a proverbial "expansion" of the Highland Stables), and now there will be something to do while you wait in line for the skyride. The introduction of new animal encounters is definitely one of my favorite things the park has done as of late, and for good reason. Woo-hoo!
