I love the Blog articles from the staff at the stables. It has to be a fun job to work with these animals every day. Exhausting but fun.

I wish that they would have Lupus the Harris Hawk featured. He is quite a fun raptor - full of personality!

I wonder which horseshoes are for the Clydesdales? I like the new silicon/rubber shoes they are using now.

Everyone loves cattle right? Well the park will be getting young Scottish Highland Cattle this year, expected to arrive in April! Yes and these cattle will be roaming the pasture just under the skyride by the England station in Scotland! They will be used with the sheep as part of their ecofriendly lawn mowing/grazing program. Also from what I heard, they will have to move them and keep them active constantly so this should be fun to watch.

This must be step one in what will eventually retheme Heatherdowns to a rodeo.

Just to clarify to everyone (and I'm sure everyone knows this already), bulls are not attracted to the color red. Bulls are color blind. They are attracted to the violent movement of the cape. So, don't start shaking violently next to the bull, it could end badly! :p
