Some activity outside the Action Theater. Looks like MonsterCon could be getting replaced?

Conjuring will not come to KD this year. It’s been announced for the four parks it was at last year and it will not be expanding. That's my guess too. I'm wondering if we'll see Conjuring in this spot or a completely new IP maze.
I havent been thrilled with any of haunts maze switch ups tbh. Zombiehigh was slighly better than bayou, doll factory no question was better than FEAR, the alien outbreak was really good and they just shafted that completly.Replacing MonsterCon when FEAR exists is... quite a choice. Please tell me FEAR is going too because, uh, I cannot cope with the death of MonsterCon while that abomination continues to live and breathe.

Haunts lineup now if con is gone is genuinly terrible. Trick or treat is a pretty maze but not at all scary. Surely if con is gone they arn't just down to 4 mazes? Maybe BGW and KD are both down to 4 mazes now this year?
Bayou and High are probably tied to me. The time me and my wife went alone in zombiehigh was deffiently an expierence.I do think it’s rather unfortunate that FEAR will likely still be around. Even though MonsterCon used the bones of No Vacancy for its layout, I would love to see the concept in a different place in the park. Not sure where they would put it, though. If it weren’t for Flight of Fear, Lockdown’s old location would be a good spot for it. They could even brand the FOF building as a convention center.
I do wonder if the in-park team has a project planned since I think the IP maze will be completed by a third-party company (I believe Plague Productions has done most of the IP installs for the Six Flags chain).
Zombie High being better than Bayou is a massive hot take. Though, I do wish the original plan to have Bayou in Doll Factory’s space had panned out, though I don’t think FEAR being in Bayou’s spot would have changed anything. I also wish they still used FOF for a maze (see my response above for an idea I hatched).
Anyhow, I’m pretty sure the IP maze will replace MonsterCon. Hopefully it is a worthy replacement.
Somewhat related, if you are a fan of the shows, I have heard that this will be a very good Haunt season in that department.
I don’t have too many memories of Medieval Macabre other than it smelling like fish and one of the actors asking us what time it was instead of scaring usBayou and High are probably tied to me. The time me and my wife went alone in zombiehigh was deffiently an expierence.
Did anyone like medieval macabe? It was a strange, quiet/dark maze. I remember walking into one of the back hallways and found an actor setup and asked where the hell I was supposed to gothey were dumbfounded but helped me lmao
Why couldn't they just replace Cornstalkers? I'd rather see that get the axe than Monstercon or FEAR.
I honestly would much rather see the park build a warehouse behind International Street over replacing a maze that's only 2 years old.Presumably they want an indoor space where they can leave a contractor-built house standing year-round.
So much at this event is ancient right now. They're racked up quite a bit of investment debt.
Doesn't the park still have Zombie High School as an indoor space they can use too?
I always wondered why Zombie High building hasn't been used in years. I imagine there is a good reason why Dodgem isn't converted into a maze anymore as well.
