So as of yesterday Universal is going to be showing off the creatures of Hagrid's coaster. So for yesterday they showed us Fluffy AA, along with a small teaser video on the Universal Resorts blog or on Inside Universal. Today we give you the Cornish Pixies as it looks like they are around the Ford Angelina and cave area, also rumor is there are maybe 20 of these Cornish Pixies around the ride and que, happy Pixie hunting. These pics are from Alicia Stella at Theme Park Stop, Inside Universal Forums, & of course the Universal Resorts blog, Stay tuned for more creature reveals this week.
Also, it looks like we have Muggles testing out Hagrids Motorbike Adventure. Also, the area is beautiful and lots more trees and adventures await us.

EDIT; I am back in Orlando and it looks like everyday until the 19th at 11am they will show a creature or something from the ride: Hint for tomorrow you will fall for it here.

Today from the Universal Orlando blogs and Inside Universal, the Thursday creature is the CENTAUR and it looks amazing, and way this looks this may be after we drop out of Devil's Snare, so can't wait to ride this.
Tomorrow will be a creature never seen in of the "HARRY POTTER" movies. I am thinking it is the Blast Ended Skrewt that will be in the Hagrid's Hut looking round barn where there will be some type of fire blast effect.

Or how about the new limited edition wand they released for Dark Arts show, love it have to get one soon for myself and my 2 nephews
Imagine with this new ride and how they are making it more immersive, I can't wait until you guys and guest go thru the que, will be a lot of things to be seen and mostly from some books. Also, I am hearing that the huge Hagrid AA is amazing which I believe is in the Hagrid hut looking barn with the blast ended skrewt, and the 20 Cornish pixies around the ride and que and how about some HHN fog.
Its gonna be a multi ride adventure, and I bet its gonna be even better in the dark.
Oh, and before I forget the huge white sound barrier is getting some tall trees planted in front of it and they have started to paint a forest mural on it as well.

First pic is the street sign area (street sign says Hogswarts, Hogsmeade, and Stables)
Second pic is last scene and its still covered but if you look close you can see a white horse body, so hello Unicorn.
Third pic is your first scene which is stables and also where you can see the Thestrial parked, and some pumpkins.
Last pic is just a wide pic of the entire HMCMBA.
Hope you guys enjoy and its getting close. Is Everyone excited for your 3 hour wait. ( Soft's may happen around end of May and week before opening)

Yeah they are nice, I am hoping they get the hoodies in quickly, even though I live in Orlando, I love shorts and hoodie weather. Also, SPOILER: you will walk thru a lab part of the que where you may see some smaller skrewts and not the huge skrewt in the barn. Also, some more spoilers of the que coming soon. Thanks for posting this btw

For the first time ever, you’ll be able to come face-to-face (or face-to-rear) with a Blast-Ended Skrewt on Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure. Described as a cross between scorpions and elongated crabs, Skrewts aren’t afraid to attack other Skrewts they encounter and have incredibly strong armor that can’t be penetrated by spells – proving to be a challenge for Hagrid since they hatched.

On your journey through the Forbidden Forest during Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure, you’ll encounter Blast-Ended Skrewts up to 8 feet long with tails up to ten-feet high and topped with a massive stinger. The Blast-Ended Skrewt is the main lesson for the day but, as with all adventures with Hagrid, things don’t always go to plan…

Fun Facts:

  • Blast-Ended Skrewts were first introduced in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, and also mentioned in Harry Potter and Order of the Phoenix and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
  • As you may have read in the book, Hagrid created these unique creatures by crossbreeding Fire Crabs and Manticores – fierce creatures in their own right
  • Skrewts create actual fire from their ‘blasting-ends,’ igniting at random intervals – so be wary during your encounter
  • Even if you’re far enough to avoid their fire, watch out as you may still catch a whiff of their powerful scent… known to smell like rotting fish
Also, for a little tea to spill the ride opens on June 13th, and if you are a Potter fanatic, or just enjoy the WWoHP, on June 13th 1943 was framed for opening the "Chamber of Secrets", I believe the year is correct, but a little tidbit and how it meshes together. Why not have a ride about Hagrid open on the date he was framed or expelled. Plus are you all ready for the rotting fish smell?

Everyone else excited about it now. I will spill some T tomorrow about the que, but Muggles are still testing on the ride today except on the motorcycle part of the train, and audio is still on, the blast from the Blast ended Skrewt I s really loud, and looks like may not be real fire not sure but its a water mist and back lit orange and red effect

Not gonna lie......I'm a little disappointed in those Blast-ended Skrewts. I pictured something a little more.....mean.

Yeah I thought the same, but guess have to see it in person and see more detail but 8ft tall with 10ft tail should be impressive. Also, hearing the beginning with the stable scene is gonna be unique also. But if any indications its looking like softs Maybe the last week of May and a week before it is open. So, if anyone is planning or will be there during that time watch the social media peeps for a Technical Rehearsal (Universals Soft Openings) sometime. Although, during Technical Rehearsals some effects wont be working or will be testing some effects.
