Oh no. You mean Grizzly will no longer feel like a near death experience and it won't take me days to fully recover from my injuries. In order to maintain the current Grizzly experience they'll need to hire someone with a baseball bat to beat riders as they exit the train.

If the Titan track is going to be partial, I'm certainly much better with that idea than making it 100% steel so extreme coaster enthusiasts don't get seriously injured with every ride.

I don’t think Grizzly needs a huge update to its entrance now that it has Grizzly Gulch General Store — which I think of as almost a highly themed entrance. They did add this nice little sign out front last summer, which definitely seems to have helped, given that I used to see people struggling to find Grizzly’s entrance all the time even once the General Store was added.

With the attention the entrance has gotten in recent years, if they really do add Titan Track to make Grizzly smoother while maintaining its signature out of control feel, that could given an entirely new lease on life for the coaster.

There’s seriously got to be a better way to get to a coaster, that could be a strong attraction with good retracking, that doesn’t involve walking through a store. That store causes such a visual blockage of Grizzly that they should seriously consider tearing it down or scaling it back in size. If the store were a thematic entrance experience for Grizzly then I could see keeping it at its current location, but otherwise it’s a major deterrence to Grizzly.

I agree on the store part, but not this way. Maybe do away with the go-carts and they can put in a mini-“outpost” themed area with an extra flat or two with a new pathway to Grizzly. I always feel awkward going through the store like I should buy something or I’m being watched like I‘ll steal something. Opens them up back towards to the old DA plot to expand with something if they would like too as well.

There are few things I would enjoy more than the removal of the go-karts and Xtreme Skyflyer. Prime real estate not to mention their existence is a reason Grizzly is difficult to track down for a lot of guests.

I don't see either being relocated, but perhaps they could reroute the entrance back to near WindSeeker with a couple new flats over there, cleaning up and possibly replacing the old Hypersonic XLC buildings. Then they can either keep the upcharge attractions or demo them while putting in a ride plaza for whatever may use the DA plot.

They can still run the original trains on Titan Track, correct?

AFAIK, yes. Iirc Predator and Wolverine Wildcat both have their rolling stock pre-Titan tracking still running with the Titan track.

Grizzly from the Eiffel Tower shot yesterday. This looks very unintentional. Beams dangling, the chain not removed first. Was there a fire or something? Kings Dominion, October 2022.

Facebook is annoying, but picture from the Eiffel Tower does make this look like damage and not intentional. So this may have been storm damage or something else fairly catastrophic

After 40 seasons in operation with more than 18 million riders experiencing the world's second Coney Island Wildcat layout coaster, Grizzly, as you know it, is being retired

I really hope it's not a complete redesign. If they need to reprofile a bit and even if they opt for partial Titan track, that would be fine. Grizzly has a great layout already.
