I agree with Shafor. This is a very good show. I like the way they borrowed elements from Andrew Lloyd Webber's Jesus Christ Superstar. The single angel in white telling the story is similiar to Judas. The finale, all in white mimics the finale from Superstar. Their version of "Do You Hear What I Hear" is one of the best I've every heard. The audience at yesterday's 3:30 performance gave the cast a standing ovation.

Fun fact: That's the lady who played Simplicity in Fiends.

Oh I know. and she did the Woman song during fiends a while ago too. Lucky to have a talent like her around.

Gloria is JAMMED full of talent; technical, instrumental, and vocal. But, I just can't enjoy it since it just seems so preachy to me... I prefer the more commercial Christmas style of Deck the Halls.

I'm with Alpen. I appreciate the objective quality of it, but it's a very niche show that I am not part of, so I skipped it last night.

Saw the show last night. It was fantastic.

There were a couple oddball things that bugged me a little (the moving floors seemed weird in some scenes, the "scene changes" looked a bit weird - I guess I'd rather see them using stage props over a projected screen - and the music seemed a little off at some points), but those didn't really detract from anything.

Great singing, great dancing, great music score, great acting.

I always thought it would be good to try recording from the very top right in front of the mixer. you'd be able to put it up on a tripod or whatever and no one would care since there's no one behind you.

Excellent! Now I know the first show I'm going to see tomorrow! It was already an awesome show I wonder what it's going to be like now?!

Seriously. You all don't even know. I was actually astonished by how well Gloria is performing. Simply amazing.

Gloria was indeed Glorious today! It was the first show we saw and talk about chill bumps. It was one powerful vocal after another. There were some new faces this year and it will be a while before I know all the names- but Bravo to the folks who worked Gloria on and off the stage... bravo!
