If I dont get to season my fries with whatever I want and how much I want off to the side then they will never be better than boardwalks. Handcut dont mean shit. Gimmick wording when I assume theyre all frozen anyway
The wording used in the press release was “fresh-cut” so I assume they’ll be fresh, not frozen. That’s how they were at Excavator’s Tators.

Thinking about buying the gold passes while on sale. Is Monday going to be crazy with some schools being on spring break?

Spring break week is hit or miss really. It is supposed to be nice for the majority of the week, which could mean moderate-heavy crowds every day, but I wouldn’t expect anything too crazy. I’m planning to go Monday also, so I’ll give a status update once there.

How would it compare to a summer Saturday, and a summer weekday(excluding Friday)? I'm planning to go on Friday and hope it isn't too busy.

I forgot, that Friday is Good Friday, which was one of the busiest days of the season last year. Granted it didn’t fall on the spring break week, but nonetheless it was a madhouse and everything was understaffed (long food lines and one train ops across the board). Now I do know that they are bringing in some ops from Dorney to fill some of the gaps next week, but I’m still expecting things to be understaffed throughout the week. If Friday is as busy as it was last year, then it will be unbearable, but again your guess on the crowds is as good as mine.

Well at least I get to go with my friend. As much as I want to ride coasters it's not the end of the day if I can only get on a few.

I believe they also had some sort of deal last year with tickets, fastlane, and parking that Friday.

I figured I might as well share my experience with Fast Lane Ultimate from this past Sunday

First, setting up was pretty chaotic but primarily because they forgot to “scan me” into the park, so had to leave & re-enter. Once we got that under control, we were able to redeem the pass with no issue.

I will say making ride reservations & showing a barcode, went much better than I thought it would be. It was quick & simple. Never had a problem having the barcode scanned by ride ops

When I’m at a park, I usually try to be off my phone as much as possible. I delete all social media apps, disable most app notifications except texts & calls, so when I heard about this change I was pretty worried I’d feel super pressured into having to be on it, but honestly it didn’t really feel like it. I kept the browser open almost the entire day and never did it crash or log me out of the system. At the end of the day my battery was still at like 80%.

Overall, I was very impressed with how things went with it. It has its Pros & Cons & I will of course prefer that they bring back the old wristband system, but I am still happy with my purchase. They did send a survey to my when the park closed & wanted feedback from my experience, so major shoutout to Six Flags for listening on that part, was very happy to fill it out. It’s definitely still something everyone is obviously getting used to so hopefully things get better with it

Things i did during the week was I saved the QR Code link to my browser as well as my login & pass number. Hoping this will make the setup process much smoother for future visits, will be testing it out again this weekend

As a side note, I love this. I try to stay off my phone and in the moment at the parks too.

Little pro tip for you or anyone else with a similar mindset, there’s a device called the Brick which blocks any apps you don’t want to be able to access until you tap your phone to the physical plastic “brick” again. I bought one almost two years ago and use it all the time, especially at parks, to stay in the moment. It accomplishes a goal similar to whah you’re doing by deleting all the apps but arguably it’s a lot easier.

Disclaimer, I have absolutely no connection to this company. Rereading this, I know this post almost sounds like an ad, but I only share this because I genuinely like the product and think people here might benefit from it, especially since it’s perfect for theme parks.

Btw- sorry if this belongs in another thread; feel free to move.

Not to take it too off topic but must be nice in an environment where you can do that @Derpy Thoosie and @Mushroom - Autism sensory issues I need my phone/headphones with me to help.

On topic: Glad to see those letters are vertical rather than in the mulch. That always bugged me.

Did y’all realize there is currently no place in the park where you can get a Hot Dog? If Dogwoods ever opens they should have them but it doesn’t even look like they’ve started on that building yet.
It's not a dog, and I haven't been yet this year to see the current menu, but doesn't the Biergarten have a sausage?
