Festhaus Park was sodded all over today. So looks like they plan on keeping it for right now.

Apollo was built in a pit, Griffon and Mach were required to paint their rides blue to match the color of the sky so they wouldn't be distracting. All the coasters pretty much have to be filled with sand to reduce noise. Verbolten is probably the quietest coaster I've ever heard. I'm pretty sure the park had to cut through a lot of red tape to get those projects off the ground as well since Williamsburg places strict height limits on structures.
Pretty much the only thing in the park that doesn't have noise limits are the shows and the train whistle (and even that can't be too loud too often).
Not sure how Williamsburg/Kingsmill managed to get Illuminights off the ground though. You can pretty much hear the fireworks on the other side of the neighborhood with ease.

The highest points of Rita at Alton Towers are painted dark green so to not been seen through the trees which it is not aloud to exceed the height of. And everything else is in a pit, or just really short. Seriously, there park can't build above like 10ft in most places, because of the locals and the council sticking up for them. And Chessington literally cannot build any new rides, probably ever again, due to the locals. That's why they still have their Arrow suspended and it's got Vekoma trains, cuz if they take it out, they ain't got a chance of replacing it. Stealth at Thorpe is white to not look too obstructive against the perpetually grey British sky, and it's height of 205ft was a one off allowance.

But anyway, why would you even want a second mega coaster? And where did that flyer rumour go? I wonder if they are interested in the wing coasters, or will go for something lower in hardware budget but high in theming like Verbolten. It's funny because none of their big coasters are actually all that themed, at all. Even the queue lines are lacking. Strange.

That's because its built in a pit. The lift hill is as tall as Alpengeist.
It's theming is pretty limited I think. It's around the entrance, and there's a little in the station, but that's it. It's nice, but theming at Busch is typically limited to around the park, not on the thrill rides. Verbolten is drastically different in that regard, and that makes it really interesting.jackelope17 said:

The most themed coaster at the park is probably Loch Ness besides Verbolten. Loch Ness has an awesome queue and station, plus the fact it is centered around the lake and the cavern. I see Verbolten comparable to Loch Ness in the sense both queues are amazingly themed, the structure of LNM's station is well done and VBs station is totally pimped out, both have indoor elements with special effects and react amazingly with the terrain.
Alpengiest really only has just a bit in entrance, station and just dabs along the ride, it really isn't that much.
