Yes, I love the themeing that went into the area, it just doesn't fit Europe is what bugs me. I want to see Switzerland go in that area.
Bull fighting is a touchy subject, devil themed ride at a park with heavy Christian influence? And chupacabra is a mexican legend, not Spanish.I think Matador, Diablo, or Chupacabra would be great names for a Spanish-themed coaster.
Really? Again, I think it depends how Verbolten goes down.As for a B&M Wing Coaster, I honestly can't see the park getting one. While it's likely to happen, I think another big ticket launch coaster a-la Storm Runner or a wooden coaster would fit better.

Festa is hard to theme because Tradewind and Turkish Delight are smack dab right in the middle of the area. Although it would be possible for a Festa retheme, the chances of it being the same quality as Ireland are pretty slim when you look at the locations.
Thirteen was quite a flop for Alton, both in the eyes of enthusiasts and the public, though most people think that was due to it being marketed at an older age group than it should have been.

If they have technical problems with Verbolten's launch, I can't see them going for another launch coaster anytime soon. Let's also remember that really, it's only Intamin building launch coasters worth shouting about. I can't see BGW getting a launch coaster who's focus is the launch. It also doesn't really fit their audience. That said, drop towers are about as intense as it gets, and they did that... Assuming Verbolten goes well with limited technical woe, maybe they will go back to them and get something along the lines of Wicked? If not, wouldn't surprise me if they go to Gerstlaurer.
As for wood... Yeeeeah, I can't see it.

The same park that did Fiends?Bullfighting could definitely work (although the conservation side of the park might disagree with it).

I blame Merlin's overblown marketing as the reason 13 and Subterra were failures.

I actually agree with this. I think the park is trying to see how V-bolt turns out before diving into launch coasters. That said, there are other options the park can stick with when it comes to launch coasters that don't involve Intamin (Premier being close behind since their coasters are very highly regarded).

Fixed that for ya.![]()
Manufacturers should be aiming to make more intense rides with low height limits. This is why the Maurer spinners and Gerstlaurer Eurofighters are such great family rides, because they entertain a huge range of people due to their low height limit and intensity.
I'd love for them to go Premier as I love their rides, but the company are far from highly regarded? They clearly don't have much work, we barely ever see anything from them! But since BGW went to Zierra for a major coaster, who even knows what's logical anymore.
2013 - Pets Ahoy - Planning - (4/5/12) If you visit SeaWorld Texas this season, be sure to take a trip in to see the park’s 4D Theater, currently playing “Lights, Camera, Imagination” Sesame Street 4D film. Why? Because I’ve been told that the park is preparing to pull the plug on the 4D Theater concept and will transform the small Sea Star Theater into a new home for a copy of the Pets Ahoy show from SeaWorld Orlando for the 2013 season. This actually leads into a bigger rumor I had heard previously… indicating that the company was attempting to come up with all new ideas to re-purpose the 4D Theaters in place at all of their parks over the next few yeas.

Although it is a great throwback Pirates is a bit dated. Thoughts?
I agree that their rides are awesome, but I don't think even enthusiasts hold them in high regard, let alone the industry. We'd see more of them if that were the case. It's a shame, because they make interesting rides. Their presence at the trade show was poor though, and they had little enthusiasm for what they did. So maybe that's why?netdvn said:Most of Premier's major projects are pretty highly regarded. I honestly can't think of a Premier coaster that people classify as "bad" (maybe the Paramount Stunt coaster projects, but I don't think anyone considers those "bad")
Other than those, you've still got Mummy, Freeze, Chiller, Poltergeist, Skyrocket, Powder Keg, and Flight of Fear - not necessarily a bad track record (ride-wise at least).
