Really excited about some of the offerings this year.  Anyone know what discount if any platinum passholders recieve off the sampler tickets?

Last year there were no discounts at all for them.

Dont know if this changes anything for this year but I just went to the SeaWorld Orlando food festival and I got the normal 10% discount off the samplers with my platinum pass.

That's kind of why I asked. I know SWO does give discounts and just figured BGW would also. I also noticed that BGW is $5 more than SWO too.

Hope this isn't a totally stupid question - if I purchase the sampler online for $45, that gives me my choice of 10 different dishes, right? Seems like a potentially good deal if I am interested in the $5-6 dishes.

UPDATE: after reviewing information a bit more, I think I understand my options a little better. I think this also might not be a bad idea to be able to try out some different beers

Holy crap! Last year it was the Scotch egg, now they got rid of the Bushwacker in the Caribbean booth! How do I break it to my kids that they can't spend a couple of hours at Land of the Dragons since mommy and daddy aren't going to be able to refuel at the Caribbean booth. I am curious about the frozen Mojito. If it's anything like the one at Universal I may forgive BGW

It looks like they just changed the sampler descriptions to 10 oz beers/mixed drinks.

Inflation by reduction. It is the new normal in America. I do most of the grocery shopping and it's everywhere. Good catch. They must have changed it since Wednesday. I am confident it was 12 ounces when i looked then. They better not reduce the food portions.

I was at the Seven Seas Food Festival too and yea they did honor the 10% and the food portions were larger.

It definitely changed since Wed - I still had the page up in my browser showing 12 oz, and I refreshed the page and...poof...it now shows 10%. Bastages

I want to clarify what BGW did la
St years was honor the 10% on individual items but not on the multiple item sampler tickets goid for either 10 or 15 items. There opinion was that you were already getting a discount buying the multiple item ticks and th
at wss enough. I can not say if that woll be the s
ame this year or not.

Many years now. If you remember watching Andy Rooney on 60 minutes, please read this link in his voice/narrative. http://www.cbsnews.com/news/a-pound-of-coffee-07-03-2003/
Want to get yourself really mad? Look at the half gallon of ice cream in your freezer: guess how much is in it before you look though...

Super glad to see they are running it on Memorial day Monday. We are getting into town Sunday afternoon and didn't want to rush through all the boothe in one evening.

Did everyone catch that the Samplers do NOT cover frozen drinks and cocktails?  Given how expensive they are, I'm not really surprised, but with the new booze booth, it is worth noting.

Busch Gardens said:
Beverages include 10 oz. beer, 4 oz. wine or 10 oz. specialty beverage samples. Samplers do not include shots, frozen beverages and cocktails. Wine and scotch tasting locations are excluded from the Samplers and sold separately. Must be 21 years of age to purchase or consume alcoholic beverages. Food selections, dates and times are subject to change and/or cancellation without notice.
