The San Marco box still looks cheap, tacky and terrible.

The Pompeii slab only looks so good because they put about 80% of the park's large potted plants in that one spot.

Also note that the booth for Greece is being constructed behind Sesame Street behind the fence next to the train. I boxed the location on this satellite image.

The Greece both has been set up this weekend over by Pompeii, it is just as bad as the Spain both when it was first put up. It really does look terrible. I have a picture somewhere.

I should have taken a picture from the back while riding the train. The top side is mostly a facade with three 2X4's bracing it in position. Very ugly from the train ride. Hope it isn't left like that.

Food/Wine Fest Spain kiosk location

Interesting....They put it just outside San Marco hamlet. Sign of things to come perhaps?

Look at the map:

On a related note, look where they placed the Greece food kiosk:

Could we be seeing a glimpse of future changes to the park w/those two countries??

All I am thinking is Greek food. They could put up a cardboard box and have it like a homeless soup kitchen and pass out Greek food and I would be happy. However, I SERIOUSLY doubt that these photos are the final look the park is going for. :dodgy:

I am sure that the powers that be are doing everything they can to get this new project finished in time along with preparing for Illuminights, Glory In the Gardens, Busch Gardens Live, and all the other things they have to worry about.

Face it- BGW is almost a year-round park now. We have moved up to the era of "Construction zones during operating hours" and hey; I'm OK with that.

If this event is a success, we can look forward to seeing this baby grow and expand over the years. Thus- we may have even more elaborate and better buildings in the long run.

I'm assuming the same thing but if that's the case, they need to put out "Please pardon our mess" signs as they used to do with Howl-O-Scream because, right now, this stuff looks very, very bad.
