I am counting down the days to this event. To think that there will finally be a food/wine festival at the park is a dream come true! I'm heading for the Greek food first!

Thanks for posting the menu Zachary! The graphics are sweet I may add.

Oh my goodness.. now I really cannot wait. Judging by the food, it looks like there will be a great deal of Gluten Free options as well- something I was nervous about. Nothing would be more disappointing than only having two things to eat around the park. But lo and behold... a festival of tasty food paired with wine.. how I have waited for this day to come for a very long time. :D

The menus certainly do look appealing, and now we can all EAT our way around the park if we want -- and can! Probably take several days to try everything you'd want, which of course is exactly what the park wants you to have to do!

This looks to have great potential and really perks up the early days of the season with something different to look forward to.

This sounds almost identical to Ecpot's Food and Wine Festival. Small kiosks with small plates scattered throughout the park. You can eat and drink your way around the world. It looks very good to me and I look forward to it.

I got a dumb question. Will the sample plates for each country include all item from their menu or just one item?

^I'm pretty sure it's one food item per plate. I can't see them giving you a little bit of everything on a single plate. Not when they can make money off of each thing.

Why are they using the Swedish flag? Sweden =/= Scandinavia. Scandinavia is Denmark, Sweden and Norway. I understand if they want to combine those three countries together, but don't use the Swedish flag for it.

I want to point out that the menus may look amazing, but what about themeing and set-up? If they don't get those right this event could be a bust.

I thought so. I just wanted to be sure.

The food should speak for itself in terms of 'country-of-origin' representation. I don't think they will need to do too much in terms of theming the booths.

I honestly think they need to have decent themeing as far as getting guests to know this booth is for the Food & Wine Festival and make it very much like that country it is supposed to represent. Yes the food should do that but remember not everyone knows where these entrees come from, especially not the entire GP.

But I do agree not much themeing should be done, just enough to give the idea what the booth is for; but I can see them over or under doing the themeing rather than hitting it on point.

Also do not forget the logistics! Logistically, will where they have tables and seats located, how will people be queued for this food, how will pricing be handled, will you pay at the stand, will there be a one price for all special, will lines for each booth reach uncontrollable levels, etc.

I can totally see the park using the booths from the Mistletoe Marketplace during Christmas Town for the Food & Wine Festival booths. Ideas?

No more Wine Barrels for photo ops. Something is brewing...

Walking from Mix It Up, I thought I saw the beginnings of a new GLOW stand.

Hmmm...

It's almost here!!

Having seen it, yes, it looks just as bad in person as it does in those pictures. It's just an ugly plywood box and I don't know how anyone decided it should be allowed inside the park.

Somehow this festival feels like stopping at the side of the road where that blue pickup truck sells "fresh" shrimp and other seafood everyday. Is this going to be the tailgating event of the year? :p

Everyone needs to chill for once. We are still weeks away.

Seriously, we were extremely excited about this a month ago. Now we're frightened because the structural plywood was put up and doesn't look like Hadrian's Villa by now.

I'm sorry for the attitude but, jeez.

I for one am extremely excited and overjoyed to see that an actual destination is being constructed instead of recycling carts.
