I won't be able to refilm Fiends this year- too many other things still need to get done first. Todd?

As for final showings, I can't even make closing night this year (so livid), so again, can't help there. :-/ I know personally I'd rather see Night Beats' final showing get some love this year- everyone and their uncles filmed the final showing of Fiends last year- I don't think anyone got Night Beats.

DIU & Fiends both finales @ 9:00 pm. Night Beats at 8:30.

- Must choose between DIU & Fiends.
- If see NB finale, cannot see Fiends; or will miss opening to DIU.
- Basically, you can choose only one finale to see in its entirety for yourself.

The CK strategy:
- See DIU earlier in the evening followed by dinner at Das Festhaus & Night Beats.
- I will be seeing Fiends in all of its sexual depravity and crudeness as my HOS FINALE!! Followed by one last late night Nessie ride. :cool:

Good point, Zachary. Night Beats should get the love. I was mainly just interested in how Fiends had improved in our self-imposed sabbatical. Sorry to hear you can't make the last night. I'd be cheesed off, too.

I searched top to bottom and could not find my camera :( I certainly hope someone else films the finale.

Speaking of, does anyone have a suggestion of when to get in line for the finale? I'd like a front seat, but I'm pretty sure that's a pipe dream, but we'd like at least somewhat not horrible seats. IS an hour and a half before the show too late?

This was my first serious attempt at getting a good recording in the foggy theater environment. Tried to capture all of the crudity. Lol!!

So I was going through some of the hundreds of Fiends 2013 pictures I'm still sitting on and an interesting question came up: Are there pictures of Fiends that are too racy to post? Cameras have the unique ability to freeze a very brief moment in time and save that moment forever. Additionally, sometimes what they capture isn't entirely what the photographer intended. In the case of Fiends, I have a lot of great pictures that have nurses in the background that aren't all in the most flattering of poses. We all know why the nurses were hired and why they're in the show. Considering their purpose, do I (or anyone else who photographs the show) have a responsibility to show them in the most favorable light possible- even at the cost of losing otherwise great pictures? Have any of you ever thrown out pictures or recordings of Fiends because you thought they contained something a little too racy (movements, poses, cleavage, etc)?

On one hand, the cast knew what they were getting into when they signed up for the show. They knew pictures would be taken and shared all over the place. But, while that may be true, on the other hand, I'm not entirely sure doing so portrays BGWFans in a very good light. I'm just very conflicted on the whole thing. Any input?

In a more serious sense, though, I know both members and guests to this site respect BGWFans and ParkFans as a whole for being a relatively clean, appropriate site that is more interested in facts and passions for the park than cursing and crude photographs, unlike many other sites on the internet--theme park-centered or not. People across the internet look up to ParkFans, and it definitely has a reputation of being a reliable and friendly source for all ages. With that being said, certain "questionable" photos taken at Fiends, in my opinion, should not be an issue because it is simply documentation--while in an entertaining manner--of entertainment from the park. A nine-year-old who's surfing the web for pictures of his favorite amusement park can just as easily watch the the same things at the show in person at the park. Therefore, I say you should go ahead and post away--for "informational" purposes. It's nothing worse than what can be found on Youtube, anyway. Of course, just to ensure the site's pure and innocent intention, a disclaimer (a la Chickenking) will definitely help solve any issues pertaining to the content. It's just like the rules of a ride: if you're warned about it, you're responsible for it. That's all I have to say on the matter.

The fact that you are asking tells me you have pretty much already answered your own question. What would the purpose be in posting whatever it is you have? Is it violating any forum rules? Will it embarrass somebody? Will it become a contest to post your NAUGHTIEST NURSE shots here? IS BGWFANS to be the TMZ of Fiends? lol

As a Google search already reveals, there is plenty of raunch already to be found. I doubt we have anything that will be much more NAUGHTY then what is there already (unless one goes out of the way to get really NAUGHTY). I have had a few shots come through that may look good in a pictorial, but I doubt they'll ever see the light of day on a forum such as this. I think the show videos speak for themselves. I can't imagine any of the NURSES or MONSTERS would have a problem with RAUNCHY shots, but...I'm at peace having seen the show. Save the "mystery", if you will (like my Momma always used to say), for the theater.

Essentially, we all know what the show is about, no matter how you slice it any pictures are going to turn out to be raunchy one way or another. The show itself is not a family friendly show, so there is really no way to discuss or really in this case document a show clean when the show itself is meant to be dirty.

I'd say at most, use a disclaimer and the wonderful "Click to View" tool.

If you are hesitating, I would argue against posting them. I find that if the little voice in my head is warning me that something might be hurtful to someone, it usually is a sign that I shouldn't do it. Honestly, there are plenty of pictures and Fiends already on this site, so unless there us something really critical is it worth the risk?
