I will hold my tongue until I can be there in person to behold the new mural depicting a small backstage parking lot, white service van, and dumpster.

They couldn’t have kept the old themed backdrop for the new game though? They just needed to update the “Three Point Challenge” wording.
Yeah, why did they go with the blank look? Does some paint cost too much for them? When your company is making that much, I feel like you should put effort into improving things, versus keeping the largest amount of money possible.

I mean, obviously, I think this is hideous and I am beyond baffled at how something like this gets approved. THAT SAID, after thinking about it a little, I'm actually really excited about this change.

Three Point Challenge always felt like something that was so profitable that its existance was just inevitable at BGW—a necessary evil that, having been released from its Pandora's box so many years ago, could simply never be contained again.

This Pantheon Hoops monstrosity somehow murdered Three Point Challenge. I don't know how. I don't know why. I don't care about any of that though—Three Point Challenge is dead! The dam has been broken!

Now that the site no longer houses Three Point Challenge but instead, plays host to a generic, easily movable, hopefully not as successful, basketball game, maybe this plot of land could be fair game for alternative uses in the years ahead...?

So you are hoping for another bar in 2023?

Shocking that they didn't work hard to include in the contract that they games company couldn't alter the space with paint or structural changes.
I'm pretty sure the games company is allowed to alter the games to any other game that they feel will be better.

I just want to add that I have no inside knowledge to whether they have to consult and have certain changes approved by the park or not. I'm more just saying that the costs associated would likely be born by the 3rd party and not the park.

Right. Just saying if the games company is doing these things it’s kinda a surprise that BGW wouldn’t want some control on the look.
