Too bad this ride isn't there during howl o scream, it would go great with the hot nurses!

Ok I was at the park today when the storms rolled in can anyone explain to me why EITA closes down during storms? It's an inside ride I don't understand the issue.

Regardless of being inside or outside, lighting can still strike the building and affect the electrical work within the building.

Europe in the Air and Curse of DarKastle are still the very last rides to close in a storm. If they close, you know its a bad storm.

Going off of what PR said... the entire ride vehicle for EiTA is metal, so lightning striking it is a better possibility than you would think. It's done to take all cautions before it actually happens. As they always say... safety is their number one priority.

I went for shelter yesterday in Europe in the Air. I sat in the room right before the pre-show. When the weather code went down, they started test runs on the ride and then they let us ride it.

Even though it just may be the worst waste of space of ever, its soundtrack ain't half bad. https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/europe-in-air-music-from-busch/id916828409

I like the ride; however, I don't like the intensity at the beginning. It was designed to be an easy ride, not an intense ride.

Will come with me Alpen?

intense ride.

I do not think that means what you think it means...

Okay to be fair, one person's intense may be another person's snooze fest.

True, but the ride was designed to be a peaceful ride, like the train. It wasn't meant to be the most thrilling rid they have.

I'm not sure I agree that EitA is meant to be "peaceful," per se. It certainly isn't a thrill ride like AC or MT, but I wouldn't put it on par with the train either. The visuals mixed with the movement of the seats are meant to simulate a low-intensity thrill ride.

That said, one of the reasons that I am so indifferent to all simulators is that I don't believe any of them do a particularly good job. Hybrids like DK and Spiderman are different. The "rides" where you sit in some seat, or stadium, or whatever -- like Simpsons and EitA (and all of its predecessors) -- are just a cheap substitute for actual ride experiences. They lack most of the physical aspects like force and wind that make most rides (even the tamer ones) fun. I have much more fun on the teacups, for example, than any ride simulator.

As an aside, I really wish they would just put a flat in that building. Catapult, preferably.
