I am glad to hear this since my last ride was a couple of years ago. I really do like the ride. I remember riding it when i was younger. Hopefully i will get a smooth ride this time if it isnt too cold. .Matthew said:Honestly, the past couple of years the maintenance on the effects in Escape from Pompeii has improved greatly. Only rarely do I go on it nowadays(the last couple of years or so) to find an effect isn't working, whereas in the past it was very, very rare that I went on it and found that all the effects were working properly.
Shane said:I assumed everyone knew this but the fire effects are human operated. A team member sits in a booth and presses a button when a light turns green and the fire effects start. If the team member doesn't press the button or presses it too soon or too late there are no effects. This is done for rider safety so that the flame effect won't go off if riders are not properly seated inside the boat. It has nothing to do with maintenance.
