Many credible sources have reached out to clarify that the fire was isolated to the attraction building's roof. It doesn't sound like anything in the building's interior was touched at all.
Truthfully, if it weren't for the vast amounts of propane inside the building and the fire's proximity to the Colonial Pipeline, it doesn't sound like the fire alone would have justified the scale of the response from JCC's fire department. In other words, it seems like this was a really big deal only because of where the fire was, not because of the fire itself.
Still not being told anything about a reopening timetable for Pompeii, but from the damage assessments I've heard, I can't imagine it's going to take very long to fix.
