I don't think people are asking for DC theming to be removed as a whole (at least not in this thread), but just removed from the boardwalk since it doesn't really make sense there. People just want cohesive themed lands, so keep the boardwalk area boardwalk themed, and keep the DC stuff in it's own theme area.

For me, with Great Adventure specifically, it’s that almost all of the DC theming feels either cheap and pointless, run down, outdated, or out of place. Original theming will always be better, even if it’s minimal, because slapping a Harley Quinn sign and some fresh paint on Blackbeard’s Lost Treasure Train feels like a bit of a cop out and the ride had more personality before.

Personally I’m fine with DC staying in Metropolis/Movietown, but Superman is absurdly out of place and Joker/HQ would be better off fitting in with the pirate theming of Buccaneer, Swashbuckler, and Jolly Roger.

I'm even fine with that. JRA was behind alot of that theming; the best he did was the JL clones and Cyborg Hyper Drive. They do better theming now.
