I would post a picture I found of the newly built habitat, if you could even call it that but apparently attachments aren't an option?

I was looking at the possibility of taking the BIRDS OF PREY tour sometime this Spring and read the details. It says it starts in Eagle Ridge. This has been removed, right? Someone mentioned that there was another enclosure being setup elsewhere. Where is that location, and does anyone know if that is where the tour will start now? Just curious.

I am not exactly sure of all the details, but from what I have gathered, Eagle Ridge was just reduced down to cages practically for each eagle individually, from what the picture shows that Zach posted. The pathway is wider and there is more walking space there just it was reduced by a lot. I think this is probably the best way to explain what is going on. Like I said, I am not perfect, I admit that, but this is what I believe.

Spoke to the bird people today. Very nice and informative. Found out that all of the eagles from seasons past are definitely gone, and that the coming eagles will be under the same department as the rest of the birdies. No outside owners or whatever. The enclosure is taking shape and should be completed soon; with eagles to follow. Honestly, it doesn't look as bad as I thought it would. And the extra walkway space was definitely needed there. Hopefully there will be less bottle-necking of traffic mixed with waiting lines for the shows there. There are also some new cutie pie screech owls. Awwww.... pics to follow soon.

I also asked about "Liberty's" antics last year. The bird lady was a little reluctant to talk about it, but did ultimately confirm for me about the unscheduled flights to Newport News and other locations. Apparently the birds' owners/sponsors didn't like that much.

Thanks for all these pictures ChickenKing- you're doing a better job reporting on the park than I am. :p
It was a good, informative day. I was very much motivated by everything that all of you guys post here. I had the luxury of walking around, taking pics of things as I came across them. I think you went out of your way to get your awesome video recordings. We were in the park a looooong time today for us. Just wanted to get all the info I could so I can relax next visit. We love the critters! :)
