Who has them, since Arrow no longer exists?

I did a little more digging and apparently HUSS split from Arrow at some-point in 1986. S&S-Sansei owns everything Arrow related from 1986/87-2002, so they may actually have what you are looking for.

Don't cry, Verkoma is just as good as Arrow.

You can REALLY see the rattle of those trains in this video. Wow. I wonder if the new Vekoma trains would have made a difference at all, but no way to know for sure.

Doing some "what if" with Drachen Fire, if it were being built now, who would you like to see build it?

My choices in order:
1) RMC T-Rex track. I think they could really pull off something awesome with this trace and that layout.
2) B&M Since they were the rumored first option of building DF, and at this point I think it would be a wing with a wingover snakedive first drop.
3) Mack, since they like doing some interesting layouts like this.

Darkhorse:
Intamin blitz in that layout would be phenomenal. Almost like Maverick on roids.

Hmmmm....I'm gonna go play on Planet Coaster now....

Defunctland is an awesome series! I watch that channel every time a new video pops up. :D

There was also an Action Park episode that was really good.

Ok, I always had a question about Drachen Fire, and I've exhausted all the ways I can try to find an answer of this:

Exactly how big was it? Not like height and length, but like how did it look in that space? What was the area under the ride like?

I can't find great pictures, sat images, POV, off-ride video to really give me the perspective of what the area looked like with DF there.

Is this what you mean?

EDIT: refresh to make sure these are two aerial shots.

Yes yes yes! I've always struggled with how that layout actually looked and how the area around it looked. Mostly because the most common complaint was it was isolated and nothing else there and if there was other stuff people would have gone more....well it looks like I suspected that there wasnt as much space back there as thought.

I'm apparently in the minority who truly loved Drachen Fire. I could marathon on it with no problem. I remember one rainy evening, 27 consecutive rides in the front seat... man, I miss that ride. One of my very favorite tings, though, was the little secluded area down beneath the helix. It was one of those all-but-gone-now quiet (well, other than the coaster!) out of the way spots where you could just enjoy being there. I miss spots like that in parks in general (if that secluded spot ain't making money, shove something in there!), but that was one of my favorites. You can see it in those pictures, follow the path from the exit, to where it juts off and goes beneath the corkscrew, through a covered area, and opens up under the helix.

I felt the same way! But then again I was 12-13 years old when it opened. I remember doing marathons of 20+ rides in the back seat and just holding my head to one corner of the shoulder restraint so it wouldn't bounce around. I'm sure if I rode it again today at age 35, I wouldn't quite feel the same way though. Getting old is stupid haha.

Y'all wanna know what I've thought of?

What if BGW were to build a wing coaster based upon Drachen Fire in the same spot as the old coaster? I think it'd fit quite nicely with being themed to a dragon. Plus, there'd be some huge nostalgia.
