I wonder how many true American patriots are in the parking lot everyday? Knowing this part of the country... quite a few are carrying guns.

There was a huge fight today outside of the exit. Hopefully the park can remain a safe and fun place this season. Traffic was awful as always leaving as closing. I’m hoping operations and lines will get better as more staff come.

Apparently there was an armed robbery and assault in the parking lot last month.

The Kings Dominion parking lot strikes again!

Rough day for Grizzly. Earlier while I was waiting in line, some lady was throwing a fit and berating the ride ops because her son wasn't tall enough to ride.

I was thinking about getting a Grizzly night ride but instead was waiting for Pantherian to open back up, which it never did. But that's better than seeing shit like that. People really suck.

Story time!

When I worked as a ride op at BGW, I was at Der Roto Baron during Christmas Town last year, and a dude threatened to beat me up because his son was too tall to ride. I called security and it took them seven fucking minutes to get to me.

Security had me fill out a witness statement and I could barely do it because I was literally shaking and crying.

I never had another incident like that after I went to Pantheon, thankfully. Mainly just grown ass men arguing about not wanting to put their stuff in the bins like we had told them to.

Yeah, you get a number of these kinds of stories over the years working any service job. I have plenty from my tenure at the parks. I don't think I ever had a time where I was filling out a witness statement and was NOT shaking from adrenaline after a bad encounter.
