If the park is going to go through the trouble of paying someone to stand there with a bullhorn, they better make sure that person is actually doing the job they've been put there to do.
As a side note, why are there handles on the back of Wirbelwind's seats to begin with?! It seems like the park is begging for trouble.
I am very glad that the girl wasn't hurt. ^ First Aid TMs are almost everywhere, hiding in plain sight. They are very quick to respond. I'm surprised that this didn't surface on the news.
What does the park do to keep the media quiet in these scenarios?
It is kinda odd, when you consider that there was a helicopter circling SFA for ages, when the Superman train got stuck on the lift hill. This seems more serious.
My understanding was that part.of thdr issue there was that park guests call 911 and the fire department was dispatched. News outlets often monitor emergency radio channels and could hase picked up on it that way. In this case there would have nothing other then a report from a witness and any video or pictures that someone had if they happened to be shooting the ride at the time since it was stopped and brought to an end quickly. I am sure the park would wait to see if they were asked about it before putting out a statement in this case I am guessing that it just simply didn't last long enough or attracted enough attention to register on the radar of the news outlets. It is kinda odd, when you consider that there was a helicopter circling SFA for ages, when the Superman train got stuck on the lift hill.
