There’s Turkey supply issues and the cost is super high. The GM of Mission BBQ and I have talked about it. Their Turkey dish at my location went from $7.99 to $10.99 and gone from 10 oz to 7 oz.Ah, my favorite Christmas dinner tradition: chicken.

Hate to say it, but Buffet Ham & Turkey Roasts on a national scale for foodservice are going to be on an ‘as available’ basis through holidays. I work in food supply chain for Healthcare facilities and folks in our nursing homes will be having chicken for Thanksgiving, also in some areas.Great. So ham then. Literally anything feels more Christmas than chicken.
As @dplough said ham in doing to be stressed as well because of the lack of Turkey. What they should do is try to get Turkey and Ham, offering them as an “as available” basis.Great. So ham then. Literally anything feels more Christmas than chicken.
While I agree that BGW culinary was generally atrocious this year, we had a good experience with Food & Wine. The culinary operations at BGW have been shameful this year. They were a joke during the F&WF. They had very few places to eat outside the food booths. It seemed to improve during the summer but went straight down hill at Howl o scream. We ate at Trappers once and they had two choices - the rib platter or the sampler platter (ribs, brisket, and chicken). We will be going to Christmastown once or twice this year, but we will be eating outside the park for dinner. Maurizio’s will be getting our business.
