I'd be willing to bet that a lot of passes at BGW have renewals in March
That too. But that would give you the month of December free. My larger point is that I don't think there are a lot of memberships purchased in Jan/Feb where if they added an extra month you would get 0 park time.Id bet Dec. Black Friday deals are popular.
If your first payment was Dec 20th, logically that’s when it ends, wrapping around the extra month means a Jan 20th expiration. That too. But that would give you the month of December free. My larger point is that I don't think there are a lot of memberships purchased in Jan/Feb where if they added an extra month you would get 0 park time.
so my boyfriend just informed me a guy who said he works maintenance for busch gardens came into my boyfriend's workplace and they were talking about shutdowns/virus/etc, and the maintenance guy said BG is now using the tentative date of May 1.
I will tell you my info came straight out of a Busch employee's mouth but will certainly not give away any more details about that person for pretty obvious reasons. No reflection on you (seriously) but with all the myths, misinformation, etc. about this pandemic I hope that any "I've read" "I heard" etc. posts be accompanied by a credible source article/link.
I don't know there is a shortage of lots of stuff I am sure wolf food is not easy to come by they might just use it as an opportunity to give them some fresh raw meat.Instead of "storm area 51", we could do "storm BGW".
They can't stop all of us.
Sure we'd all be arrested and never allowed back... But you'd get some epic rides.

I was told that there was an email from corporate that said right now they are internally looking at being closed till May first but will be constantly reevaluating that estimate.I'm hearing that the park only communicated to employees today that they think that April 1st is increasingly unlikely but that there was no way to say an exact opening date at this time.
I'm told that it was only communicated that they are looking at contingencies and that the only date communicated to employees was April 1st because that's as far as their current plan extends.I was told that there was an email from corporate that said right now they are internally looking at being closed till May first but will be constantly reevaluating that estimate.
Based upon several factors - BGW's statement of opening on April 1st was based upon what was known at the time they made the decision. If you go further and look at Seas website, it states "We are monitoring this evolving COVID-19 (coronavirus) situation closely and coordinating with public health officials. We look forward to welcoming our valued guests back to our parks soon."
There is NO concrete answer as to when the park will re-open, however, BGW's initial statement was based on the hope that they could open April 1st. This is a business that WANTS to be open. They can't provide concrete answers on when this will actually occur, but they are 1000% committed and want to open April 1st, which is why they said it. It would be a stupid business decision to say otherwise when literally everyone will understand if they can't.
In conclusion, chances the park opens *educated guess*
April 1st - less than 10%,
Before April 17th - 40%
Before May 1st - 90%
It would be one thing to give April 1 as their currently scheduled opening date (most parks have been doing something similar). It’s another to actively deny the possibility that that opening might be delayed again, and that’s exactly what they’re doing on social media right now.
I’ll take Memorial Day weekend or later.Based upon several factors - BGW's statement of opening on April 1st was based upon what was known at the time they made the decision. Do you have any recent examples of BGW actively denying further delay? I haven't seen any since last week.
It’s the same ones from their initial announcement last week.
