So I can reserve 6 days at once?
It should work the same as SWO and BGT. You can reserve up to 6 spots for a day a time. If you buy a single day ticket for a specific date then that is your reservation already. I'm not sure how many days at a time you can reserve at once. I hadn't really looked into but I was under the impression that there was a limit as yo how many reservations you could have at a time.

I was half right on it being August, wasn't excepting it to be soon! I hope, Pompeii's open~! Ooohh man, Griffon...aaahh~!!
Alright Fan-talk aside: I just hope everyone, even the park, will practice safe distancing!

For the record, they have to solve this problem for prepaid BGW passes and meal plans too. Extending them into the period after New Years is not a fair compensation.
Yeah, certainly for a family that has to drive 8 hours round trip for 4 hours in the park? And our season dining starts again when we STILL essentially cannot use them? This might work out for locals but the rest of us still seemed screwed. Extending March-July months closed then adding August to December that are as good as closed to us doesn't add up well. I certainly don't expect them to solve this well, treat us well, or even really care.

I know that your situation is a little different. I'm not really sure how to compensate members who aren't local. I would however anticipate that they would continue counting months closed until they fully reopen. I don't think that whatever day they begin the partially reopen will be the cutoff time for how long they will extend passes.

I anticipate for annual passes the extra time will be added onto your pass at the time the prepaid 12 months pass. That's what they comminuted previously. And the simplest way to compensate them. It really just depends on when your pass was supposed to end. If your pass was due to end during the closure then the extra time seems fair. If it was due to end in September to October then it sucks because your extra time is in a period where you can't visit. Honestly I think what they should do is just give these people x amount of months so the start of next season but for consistency sake I understand just doing the same for everyone.

It should be similar for people who are still in their 12 month commitment on EZpay. I haven't yet seen a convincing argument as to why this is a problem because in normal times you still pay money even when the park is closed. And these people are just getting x amount of months without having to pay.

As far as dining plans go, I think that it is easier to decide what to do because currently they all expire at the end of the year. They should just give everyone the number of months the park is closed at the start of next year. For people who purchased the WCUSA dining plan they should just give everyone next year for free.

Even as a local this is in no way adequate for my platinum membership. We go as a family. My two boys will have almost nothing to do. At this point they are the primary reason we love going. Opening le scoot would be a huge improvement. Lots of employees on it though.

We are in the month to month boat. So extending really does nothing for us. It is just evaporated money. I see the park doing zero for us in this aspect. Sort of the similar boat of Platinums are in with degradation of their passes by the lower upgrades.

With the season dinning pass, it was great when it was 15 months, or so, of dining. However, since we and many others are not local, now it going to be 4 month next year? We got it later in 2019 and wouldn't have got 15 months out of it, but we planned it's use for this year. We only got to use it twice. So, way losing at this point. It may have been a great deal at the time, but now it is a VERY expensive hit at a great loss for a family of four. I truly paid for something we didn't get.

I agree that nothing should fully kick in until it's more than a few hours and only a part of the park. But making the season dinning go the full year AFTER FULL operations resume would be my wish. I feel it's really no different to the park since I never used this year at all. Just mark out "Until Jan 2021" and replace it with 2022. But then locals have more than used and paid for theirs, so another year would not seem fair to the park in that aspect.

I have no answer, but I am totally sure the park doesn't either. Plus, I have no faith in them doing something really great for us, nor actually pulling any great promises off given their track record of customer service. In fact, I have a gut feeling whatever they come up with will be more worse than better.

Other parks made a call on extending passes for the full year, or deferring payments, or just telling patrons what the deal was. I only see BGW hiding, communicating little and then poorly, taking people's money (which many are okay with), while turning around and not paying their own bills. Just sits bad with me. Being in the disenchanted bleachers already, how they handle this when it all shakes out will the make or break for us. Pantheon and Season Dining were all they had us hanging by. Both now seem fleeting. But if we cut and run now, we DEFINITELY have lost the pass money and season dining we've paid in.

So, a potentially awesome coaster and great eats holding us hostage has changed to being held hostage by trying to get something we paid for. Not a great feeling.

I'm sure this will elicit harsh comments. That seems to happen here a lot lately. These fora use to be a safe place to share information, civil discussions, and opinions. Now, as oft occurs, claws come out when someone makes any comment. Even if benign. I look forward to your helpful and insightful contributions hacking and slashing.

Anyway. Our 8 cents. Joke. 2 cents? 4 of us? Never mind, going to bed now.

I saw someone on Facebook flew a drone over the park yesterday and it appears that Pompeii has been testing, I could see water in the splash pool, and a boat on the lift hill! At least they will have a water ride open for the summer months, at least I hope!

Add the Stein Club to what BGW Family said. That's another $100 X 2.
As far as the dining plan goes my dining plan was good for 12 months from the date of purchase. never had it go beyond 12 months as stated earlier.

I still think they ought to do a system that starts your plan for whatever it is (pass, membership, meal plan, drink plan, beer club) on the first time you use it in 2020. If you don’t, it automatically starts Jan 1st 2021 and basically you are prepaid for the 2021 year.

I am on ezpay and still dont understand when I will get my free months. We are well past our origional 12 months period. For the dining plan, so if they give us 2 free months at the beginning of the 2021 season what happens after that? Do we buy a 2021 dining plan after that and if so now we are back paying for those 2 free months so we really got nothing? And if the 5-9pm operation is correct there will not be enough time each day to claim your 2 entrees a day so really you can use it but only at 50% and then on top of that at a very limited number of open locations.
