Disney Releases Statement Regarding Upcoming Vacation Bookings
Disney just released an update on encouraging guests to continue planning their vacations. The announcement seems to indicate a possible July goal date.
This statement basically confirms that they would be working with people one-on-one to change reservations as needed.
Excuse me.... With subject matter going this way and that in this thread I thought you might have missed it. And, as you may have seen, the County had approved their schedule. Just waiting on the governor, I guess...

That’s going to be extra rough if regional theme parks follow a similar operating schedule. Closing that early effectively guarantees that most guests won’t buy dinner in the park, which is a lot of lost revenue.
@GrandpaD I apologize if I came across abrasive in my previous response to you. I meant no ill-will, just wanted to make the clarification. Thanks for posting the article with confirmation from the Governor.
God bless the USA the fine folks at Fun Spot are choosing to ignore every single safety option, social distancing, and masks by opening to essentially pre-Covid19 conditions.

When outbreaks start being traced back to parks, I hope the enthusiast community tars and feathers these bad actors in the streets. These parks aren’t just risking their own reputations, they’re risking the reputation of the industry as a whole—and frankly, the ability of the industry to rebound from this financially.
I hate to put it this way, but got to hope that parks that open show that the outbreaks didn't happen with them.
Also disturbing bot not shocking that the first park with attempting to open like this is in Florida. Glad I've done my Fun Stop credits so I never feel the need to go back for crap like this.

Just to add to the FunSpot post - as I've understood the procedures in Florida, parks have to submit a plan that has to be approved (1) by city/county who then (2) sends to Governor for approval before they can open. So, IMHO, no way they could do a "pre-Covid-19" opening.
