Yeah, "Miracles" was great when the previous choreographer worked wonders in it during 2010-13, but when the "current" one took over in 2014 and changed it, it turned pretty bland and head-scratching.

I hope the new show will be a superior replacement.

To be honest, I really like Christmas Town but it's not a strong enough draw to justify the drive from Raleigh and standing in the cold. Maybe if the shows were crazy good or if the food was off the chain...

I feel the same way as I'm in Garner. I'm coming up this year though. My parents want to go to Christmastown and Grand Illumination.

I think it's a solid draw but, you do have to make other plans. We go up twice a year from Winston Salem, the weekend after Thanksgiving for the Christmastown dash and after Christmas. The 8k run is fun and has a good family atmosphere, never short on encouraging words and smiles from onlookers and runners. They also have booth setup for non runners to keep the kids busy.
My tip is to make a 2 trips to Christmastown to cover everything in case if large crowds but add Colonial. Colonial does a wonderful job changing things up and giving a good Christmas feel without over doing it. A good stop is the outdoor market, they have a lot of good seasonal items. Also if you go after Christmas the crowds are usually a little smaller and you can get great deals on things in the park and at the outlet.

What's the over/under on BG running out of hot chocolate? I want in on that action.

Also, if I have my way I'm going to name my next album Dramatic Hugging.

I would say bell curve that sucker.  Mu has to be on x mas.  Prior to that I think its odds on favor that they have the sweet brown. Graph is a nice left leaning sin curve.  After that the curve rolls off to infinity they don't.  (maybe not a clean sinusoidal curve however)  I would say 5 to 1 by NYE, and dealers choice after that.

Also, I would buy that album even if Britney Spears was up front, Tiffany and Debbi Gibson were back up, the New Kids filling out the horn section, with Vanilla Ice on drums, and the original members of Menudo playing guitar, bass and keys.

I wonder if they plan to use the dynamic pricing structure they tested last year.

I also wonder if there will be a discounted CT Pass this year. It is already October, and they offered it in August in 2016.
