I'm just amazed Tiny Tim isn't going to be a puppet! 
Then again, if I did do it, I'd probably be wearing a light up Christmas Sweater while walking around with a red and green bedazzled crutch.
My experience with Iceploration at BGT makes me worried about how putting a child in the show would work. Having a child play Tiny Tim could be a great part of the show, but at the same time I'm afraid they'll make him too much of a focus. If I heard that little boy exclaim "Grandpa!" one more time I would have gone bananas.

I'm surprised the casting call specifies they are looking for a boy for the part. At that age range, they might find a girl to have the best combination of being small and appear as a sickly boy, with strong vocals.

I really wish they'd go the darker route. Victorian era England was a rough world - well shown in the newer animated movie.
But rock and roll is just so much more mainstream than actual Christmas stories...
