Zacahry, did you take pictures in Tweedside? CK took us there to see the "sights". Also, I don't recall all the extra hanging lantern lights in the Emporium during the fall. Maybe both of the these would be better in Minor Changes?

Nope, didn't get anything at Tweedside. Also, yes, the lanterns in the Emporium are for Christmas Town- I have pictures of those I believe. I can post them in a few so everyone else knows what we're referencing.

Got a chance to do a quick walkaround of the park.

- Park looks fantastic as always. If you loved last year's decor, you'll love this year's.
- Saw the penguins. Same deal as last year. France sparkles very nicely. I love the ice queen and her minions.
- Festa was full of burnt out bulbs. Something should be done about that. Half the bridge was completely dark. I REALLY wish the park put this much effort into the HOS Festa decor.
- Park was a ghost town. Days like this are certainly perfect to visit.
- Oktoberfest tree seems a little smaller than last year's. Not sure if that was because of the added tree in France or something else.
- I'll be back at the park later this year to see the shows. They seem unchanged from last year.

Overall nothing really new or groundbreaking this year. It's pretty much the same event as last year with the added French sparkle. Only real change was the park map, which seems to change every year.

It has been repainted. I'll have to see it in full daylight before I give a proper assessment, but it looked reasonable enough.

First off, when I walked through the park towards the very end of the event, the Corkscrew Hill signage was covered with a circular Christmas Town sign that was very generic.

I never said that it was going to look too gaudy or tacky. All I said was tinsel everywhere, and yes there was tinsel everywhere. All the trees were made of tinsel, there was tinsel garland hanging from all the buildings. You guys were the ones that heard tinsel and freaked out like crazy about how tacky or gaudy it may look. You all were even worried when you heard just the word 'sparkle' by itself.

Moral of the story, just have hope and faith that things work out no matter how terrible it may sound.

Anyways, I find it kind of upsetting that the Globe Theater lobby is closed and is not open for indoor seating especially with it being during a colder time of year when indoor seating is almost required.

You should really drop by if you get a chance. We'll grab a photo if CK doesn't put one up. It's like they are trying to find the next way to make you NOT buy stuff.

I don't really remember the hot drink selection from last year. But I remember in 2011, and 2009 they used to sell hot cider along with the hot cocoa, are they still doing that this year?
 
Are they still selling the rest of last years? Because I really want one, this years doesn't look good at all.
