RE: Christmas Town 2012 Rumors

Why hasn't it been established that special events don't have to follow hamlet themes yet?

Let's go ahead and rip Disney's Xmas time special. Other than Country specific shows and minor decor, the major are all Americana tradition. I wonder why it is that way with BGW? O DOOF!!! I know! Because it allows the entire park to be cohesive.

"Now hiring experienced male dancers. Applicants must be available to work through December 31, 2012."

"Dancers proficient in Tap and Contemporary Jazz styles preferred."

Is there a new tap addition to a show?

RE: Christmas Town 2012 Rumors

They had Christmas lights up around alpengeists queue line today, wonder if that means anything?

RE: Christmas Town 2012 Rumors

The park has already started Christmas Town decorating and preparations, such as adding partially if not fully decorated the trees in DaVinci's Gardens of Inventions, adding Christmas lights to lower buildings such as Guest Relations outside of the park, the wiring for the stars in the sky is in place outside the park and in Scotland (partly used for HOS), and the small extension cords used to plug wreaths on windows and doors or other decorations that light up have started to be placed into position. The park has started to get ready for Christmas Town, I wonder if this is in reaction to them being unprepared for Howl-o-Scream, or if this is because they want to prepare early because of the Retro Lane expansion, or what ever this may be.

If Miracles gets the boot, which I think it shouldn't, PLEASE keep the finale tree-spotlight effect. That's breathtaking.

RE: Christmas Town 2012 Rumors

I honestly don't think that there will be any new shows this year because of the expansion into Festa; with that in mind IF there was to be a new show, I think it would be in Abbeystone.

*This post was edited to combine my two posts, reduct space, and display my thoughts clearly. Obviously this was edited after it has been said that no new shows will be for this year.*

RE: Christmas Town 2012 Rumors

I'm guessing the opening is for Deck The Halls. I imagine we'll see some big changes with the new stage in place. Everything I've heard points to there being no new show for this year's Christmas Town. Everyone's favorite PowerPoint presentation should have some work done this year as well.

RE: Christmas Town 2012 Rumors

Anyone know anything else going in around the park preparing for CT?

RE: Christmas Town 2012 Rumors

The guide wires for the snowflakes at the entrance to the park are up. And there are a few changes to the show in the Abby.

RE: Christmas Town 2012 - Rumors

Didn't know if this was mentioned but in the new brochure for christmas town this year it says while in germany catch a ride on mach tower and verbolten....so i guess verbolten is the coaster for this year!

RE: Christmas Town 2012 - Rumors

Anyone heard if/when they are going to do the special $5 tickets deal announcement via Twitter like they did last year (on two separate occasions)?
