Do we have any idea what or if anything will be replacing Rejoice or are they just going to widdle down on the Christmas Town Shows like they have for all the other shows?

Maybe they are including the light bulbs in the buldings in the 5 million lights this year :p

Theyre putting a new show in the Abbey Stone.

And now that I think about it, opening Festa and putting more lights on the train ride seems more likely.

I think on the coasters they don't operate for Christmas town, add colored light bulbs in the lamps going up the coaster hill.

I wonder why they aren't having Darkastle open? Surely, being indoors, it's the only ride they can have open as guarantee?

I'm glad Alepengeist is open instead of Griffon though, I really like Alpengeist and Griffon is a bit, well, pants.

EDIT: I forgot Europe in the Air existed when I mentioned Darkastle. My brain tried ever so hard to forget that ride. Siiigh.

It was mentioned before that the reason DarKastle is going to be closed is because it needs annual maintenance which has to be done during Christmas town

Annual maintenance involves taking all the trains apart and inspecting them piece by piece. When it was open during previous Christmas Towns, the ride had major downtime during the regular season.

What's the bottom line? I know there has been much expansion of the park for CT displays; are there projected areas that are not going to be part of CT? I will have two extremes with me this year... a 3-yr old and 67-yr old handicapped grandma so walking is an issue. Trains are up? Skytrams? What rides if any may be open? (Which has to be a very surreal experience given the fact we walked through this park when it was over 100 degrees this summer). Thanks ahead for responses!

Trains will be up, but the skyride will be operating round trips out of Scotland for viewing of the lights. For a full list of rides open, you can check the website.

I'm not quite sure how that's going to work...

Is it taking place under Pompeii or around Pompeii?

By the way, link for the lazy. ;)

I'm guessing the usual lit trees along the main path (Heatherdowns to DaVinci's Garden), and chaser lights down the boat chute creating a waterfall effect...
