Do you guys think that Saturday, December 11th and Saturday, December 18th will be crowded? I am going on both so should I beable to do everything. I dont care if I miss out on some of the flat rides, all I really want to ride is Griffon.

1. Yes it will be crowded on a Saturday, Sundays are the least crowded.

2. Make sure you call ahead because Griffon has been closing early due to the low temps. Yesterday it didn't even open, might not today either.

The 11th is calling for temperatures in the 50s right now. hopefully it stays that way. I'll be there that day too.

I am heading down to Christmas Town on the 11th and am getting ready to buy extra passes and dining (taking the in laws with us :-/) Does anyone know how Santa's Fireside Feast is and if it is worth the $22.00? Or would we be better off to just buy the platinum dinning certificate and eat then. Also, Quick Quere's worth it or not for Saturday?

Thanks in Advance!

Sarah

I went to it last year, with my 4 year old niece. I thought it was done very well. I wouldn't really recommend it unless you have a kid that will appreciate it. You get all you can eat/drink of some typical american fare food, as well as cookies at the end. The kids can go meet santa and get a picture taken. Santa also tells the traditional, 'Twas the Night Before Christmas. Quick queues might be worth it depending on what you want to do and how fast your party moves, especially since it will be busy on saturday.

Does anyone know what the weather conditions need to be for Griffon to run?

There's also a built in weather station at the top of the Griffon to determine if the weather is OK to allow the operators to run the ride. If it's too windy, they will not be able to operate the ride.

Looks like there's going to be a crowd of BGWFans at the park this Saturday. I'll be there, too. I'm considering doing the Clydesdales & Collies tour. Seems they just added this recently. Temps are starting to drop a little for then, lower 50's or upper 40's from the big map. Haven't checked the actual forecast since it's still a few days out. Lows look to be a bit warmer than the frigid temps we've been having this week.

See you all on Saturday!

I'll be there too. If you guys want to meet up, we can meet at the Tree in front of Festhaus between one of the shows. Just check the times and pick a good in-between window.

Besides Griffon, is anything else at the park dependent on the winter weather? I won't be visiting until after Christmas, and I presume the weather could be chillier with each passing week.

Yep, just Griffon

If anyone wants to meet up, I'll be at the Tree at 4:00. If no one's there I won't wait long; so if you show up at 4:05 and I'm not there, don't assume I'm a robot.
