I just had a quick question that maybe someone can answer. This is my favorite show in the park and I've seen it countless times and I've always wanted to snap a few photos. I know they say no "flash photography or video recording devices" before the show. Obviously that means no video-recording, but does the "flash photography" statement mean no photos as well or can I still take photos as long as I don't use the flash? I've seen photos of the show all over Facebook so obviously people take photos but I wasn't sure if they just got away with it, got it approved with staff prior to the show, or if we're permitted to take photos during the show as long as our flash is off.

The are two reasons for both photos and videos, either they got permission from the park or they did it without permission [the later is more common]. Either way if your going to take pictures its recommended that your flash is turned off.

Cool, thanks! That's what I figured although I've heard some people on the (non-official) Celtic Fyre Facebook page complaining that ushers have told them to put their phones away when they've been taking photos so I've been hesitant to take any photos of my own.

I was trying to hide my back-light one time, just to be considerate. Unfortunately, the usher thought that 1)I was filming, because it looked like I was tying to hide it. (understandable) and 2)Apparently the usher didn't know that phones could take photos... I kid you not. To be fair, I believed the usher on account of age and other factors. (Therefore, no offense toward older tech-savy people.)

The problem is that they are used to scanning the audiences, but not trained to look for the right clues. For instance; if I was filming, I wouldn't raise my phone (visibly or not), only to put it back down five seconds later. Some ushers just understand this as a given, and then wait a few seconds before intervening.

By using these pointers, they can make themselves appear to be both friendly and professional. The way BGW currently handles the situation makes them all appear hostile (one creates a bad reflection on all of them). Personally I would like to feel at ease in a theme park. Busch Gardens can't neglect that value for any reason.

Saw the show the same day I saw "All For One" and this show is still the number one best show in the park (with "All For One" being the second best show IMO). I did notice that the american number was slightly different than in previous years, and I think there was an understudy during that time (late afternoon) for this dancer wore a yellow dress.

I may see this show on either Saturday or Sunday (the last day this show performs this year) depending on how things go this week.

Was able to see the final show of the season. Man, I love this show and I hope it's back next season and stays for quite a while. It's the one show in the park I can watch every time I go and it never loses its charm. I'd understand if it's gone next season since it's been going mostly unchanged for the past 7 seasons, but I love the show and I'm not entirely confident that they could put a new show in that'll be as good as Celtic Fyre. I'm hoping with them just adding a new show in All For One and the fact that they're focused on Invadr for 2017 that they'll bring Celtic Fyre back next season.

I really wanted to see the last show tonight, because I know they always do an excellent job. But my family couldn't stick around that late :(

Saw the final show tonight, it was wonderful to see in person. Great show all around that I hope it comes back next year. :D

Every Irish show in the Abbeystone has been amazing, Emerald Beat and Irish Thunder were just as good if not better.

FYI, some fortunate people got to see Marcus Maloney perform in the show Saturday. For those wondering, he is the World Championships Irish Dancer that choreographed and Co-Directed Celtic Fyre. He has performed in Riverdance, Lord of the Dance, and for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. It was very cool.

I am so taken with this show! How do they assemble such talent?? My family went about 15 times over the summer :) We made it to the last show and was completely blown away! The audience participation was so much fun!! I love that this show has a fan base! What a treat!!!

Rockin' Road to Dublin came through town this weekend. They seem to be doing really well. The show was good. There are 30+ Celtic Fyre cast and crew on tour (and some MIU). I'm interested to see what Celtic Fyre will look like this year with a good deal of our well know tappers now on tour.

As much as I love Celtic Fyre, I wouldn't mind if a new show themed to the mystic side of Ireland replaced it soon.
